Bearbeitet von Tartan 118: 1/5/2016 11:58:14 PMBungie's executive team didn't like his direction or structure of Destiny's original script: too linear and campy, apparently. This was just over a year before launch. So they scrapped it entirely and reworked elements (of the script and encounter designs) into the utter mess of a Frankengame we got at launch. Staten left at the beginning of the rewrite.

There are a few hints at to what was about here: http://kotaku.com/the-messy-true-story-behind-the-making-of-destiny-1737556731 I know Kotaku but the article actually shows a lot of what happened behind the scenes of the game.

Bearbeitet von Tartan 118: 1/6/2016 11:33:24 AMI don't know what Bnet's problem is with Kotaku. Maybe it's about ethics in gaming journalism.
