This beast lived in North America 800,000 years ago. It went extinct 11,700 years ago. It isn't known on why and how it went extinct, although it probably has something to do with human expansion into their hunting territory.
A massive creature, it was [b]3.65 metres[/b] tall on its hind legs. It weighed one tonne, and was omnivorous. It hunted big game, and could [b]run faster than a race horse[/b], in a similar fashion as a cheetah.
