I feel bad for you and so many of the bungie team. A clearly placed post goes unread/bashed again. Not going to lie, this post is in no means vague. Hope Bungie keeps doing good work on this game. Sorry for the few toxic members of the community.

Bearbeitet von Ruthless: 10/14/2015 8:48:56 PM@Shmeck42 I take you don't own a BS yourself and this is why you opiniate in this matter. But for those of us whom worked so hard to get this weapon, I litterally spent all day on day one of this Daily and didn't get it, the second time around It took me all day again and on the very last minute I finally beat it! This was the HARDEST mission I've ever done. EVER... harder than the raid and any nightfall. And my reward was IMO fitting! So to take that away now, that's not fair! So stop trying to kiss @bungies derriere and try and see it from the players POV.

Bearbeitet von Shmeck42: 10/14/2015 9:22:27 PMI own it. Got three in a few minutes. The quest was not hard(for me), but many players have issues keeping themselves alive and managing adds. I went in with a 285 and a 292 (at 295 myself at the time) and while hectic, the mission wasn't hard. It was rather fun and i personally thought 310 was a bit ridiculous, as only raids and endgame pvp shpuld drop lvl cap items. I enjoy the chance at 310's from engrams post 300, but a guaranteed max weapon is a bit much. I understand the complaint people have, but it wasn't a vague mysterious comment he posted. It was a little cheeky, but that is what you get from a game community manager, someone with sas just like any gamer should be used to. You had time to prepare, and my 307 spindle dropped to 287. I re-infused it that day back to 310. Now, i am biased a bit due to being a bit better at the game than the avg player (not gloating, just an observation based on completions in both pvp and pve) so game mechanics are not hard for me to work with. But even for a person that took this mission as a greater challenge than others, it was a secret mission. Not end game. Would have been cool to keep the 310's but that is life. And the issue of time comes up. It wasn't patched immediately. And Deej even gave us an option to infuse other weapons as a suggestion before the patch. Basically, we were given every special weapon we wanted to boost to 300 with the blueprint version (at the cost of 2500 glimmer, some weapon parts, etc). I feel bad for those who didnt take advantage of it/don't read or participate in the community forums to know it was going to happen, but expecting more is just asking for more of the silver spoon treatment. I apologize if you are upset at me for supporting Deej and Bungie in this instance, i've had and still have my own complaints, but we were never lied to/blindsided/etc with this event. It was a well known fact that changes to the spindle were going to happen. Thank you in sharing your opinion on a post that never effected you. All i did was show my support to the people working to shed light to the community and help make this game what it is.

So, why wait so long for starters? Why take away from Kiosk Infused BS? And you're correct in your bias opinion. Not everyone has the time and is as skilled as players like yourself. Indeed this is why the more reason people are upset. This was not an easy mission for the masses, sure a few very skilled individuals may share your opinion. But does that mean it's fair for the rest?

Bearbeitet von Shmeck42: 10/14/2015 9:58:38 PMThe timing surprised me as well, but i took that as a gift in disguise. You had more time with your 300+ spindles to infuse and use as you saw fit. And while bias is there, my opinion is no way faulty. It is upsetting many could not acquire/struggled o get the spindle. But even at that, like i said in one of my responses, it is not an endgame mission. And because of this, it is 'fair' for the spindle to have its damage dropped. It was just a timed event that repeats as the mission pops up. If you are having trouble obtaining it, that is good! A challenge is a great way to boost the fun in a game. And as all parts of end game content in this game can be played at 290 light, it is not necessary to have such a boosted weapon. I hope you don't think i am talking down on you in any way, seeing as how text conversations can be read into in many ways. Just adding in my two cents.

The post implies that it is referring to the 310 attack spindles. It said NOTHING about kiosk bought spindles.
-
And as a side note, it didn't just say 'DROPPED SPINDLE' was only getting the reduction either. All it stated was 'the black spindle,' which indicates the gun as a whole.
-
When you reference the 310 attack value you imply you are talking about the dropped spindle

Bearbeitet von Shmeck42: 10/14/2015 9:32:33 PMWhile it doesn't specifically state "The blueprint version of the black spindle will also drop 20 points" it isn't hard to understand it too would receive a drop, as it was 20 points higher as well. It would have been a blunder on bungie's part not to have dropped it, due to a 310 being hit would put your original BS 10 points lower than the blueprint. I can understand most complaints about the weapon dropping and being a challenge, but for the community to expect the exploit of a better base spindle from blueprints over the dropped one is a fault on the players part, not the messenger of the patch. If the argument 'the raid is easier than this mission' is the main point to getting 310 drops to stay, the best way around it would have been to run the raid. You have multiple chances a checkpoint per character to get weapons 300-310 weekly. Infuse those back into the spindle now that it is patched. Not a hard solution. Edit: added quote to prove point.
...we'll be releasing an update that will adjust the Black Spindle to match the attack rating for other Year Two Exotics... None of those weapons will be affected by this change - only the Spindle.
I get that, but all other guns from the kiosk are 280. 310 drops are 20 points higher (originally 290). Kiosk is 300 (originally 280). Both are 20 points higher. I can agree that they should have been more clear on the matter though

I understand what your saying and it makes sense. But it's shitty, people put time and effort into fusing a weapon and then get spit on like this.
-
I mean they did give a warning that Spindles would be reduced, so I don't feel as if they just did it and we were blind to it. They told us, thing is they just didn't tell us well. The message didn't get across very well and that's where the miscommunication happened. They should have been more specific so if they wanted to reduce the Spindle at least the message was clear, but it really wasn't. :/

I kinda agree with you. It was clear but then again it wasn't. They put in specific info about the 310 spindle but failed to clarify if the kiosk special spindle would be effected if infused up. Now that I got back and read other players info it makes sense but hindsight is 20/20.
