This is a fluid game that's meant to be played daily. Things need to be in the game to reward the people that do just that. If you're not playing every day (or at least most days in the week), you obviously don't need everything in the game.

You say the reward should come from game time but I disagree. We all handed our money over for the game, which can be a lot easier than time for some. I go to work and do really long hours, so when I log on and find that I've missed something, I feel cheated because I am not able to be on here all the time. Bungie are denying fair play for all and rewarding those who don't seem to have to earn a living or contribute to society. Of course we all want to have the best weapons and gear, we all want the highest light level, but it needs to be proportionate. Instead of making some events with a time limit, just put them out there for all of us, all of the time.

Bungie isn't denying you anything. This is how this genre operates. Don't like it? Go back to FPSs.

That's not the game's fault, nor the developer's. If you want to play a game like this, but can't play regularly, you have to understand you're going to miss out on shit. That's just the reality of the genre.
