Lool, we all have jobs, I get that. And it sucks when work keeps you from being able to do something that's timelocked.
But if it's that bad you shouldn't play.
People like you talk about catering to casuals (yes, yes you are don't deny it) while simultaneously basically saying "-blam!- you" to the hardcore players.
Why should players, who haven't played, be rewarded with the ability to casually complete time locked events, while the hard core player was around for them?
Hey, person A raided ever week till he was level 310, so let's give 310 to this guy, because he never raids? Is essentially what you are saying.
Ih, you couldn't play when black spindle was the daily? Here you go, since you are a casual, you can play it when ever you want. But you hardcore players must finish it today.
No, that's not how it works, in games or in life.
Oh, I'm sorry, you were too busy to come to class today to earn your degree? Well, to hell with people who made it to class, how about you tell me when you'd like to complete your final?
Oh, not tlebough time in your day to complete all your work? Finish it at your leisure, and you can have that promotion, even though Smith over here never calls out and always finishes.
This game is about the grind, play for the grind, or don't play.

This is a game, not an educational system. Weekend warriors should have access to the same quests and rewards, provided that they put in the work to receive them as hardcore players that have no life beyond video games.
Hey, person A raided ever week till he was level 310, so let's give 310 to this guy, because he never raids? Is essentially what you are saying.
You lost me right about here. That and what OP is trying to say have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
Ih, you couldn't play when black spindle was the daily? Here you go, since you are a casual, you can play it when ever you want. But you hardcore players must finish it today.
This is straight elitist talk. No one is going to force hardcore players to finish it Day 1. But they will. So what's wrong with letting the casuals do it when it is convenient for them? Nothing, unless you're an elitist prick. Hardcore players will still have it before casuals, you'd think that would be enough. But no, you want them to have to wait until they luck up into a day off with the mission available? Wtf? What the hell does it matter? They paid just as much for this game as you did.
Oh, I'm sorry, you were too busy to come to class today to earn your degree? Comparing video games to real-life work and school... Wow man.

I lost yo, but you kept reading ;)

Lol, oh no.

so if you don't get that excotic to drop then you should not be able to get it off from zur. is that what your saying.
-
Bearbeitet von Grimace221: 10/9/2015 8:16:56 PMNo, you have to work for strange coins. Also, if it's a quest exotic (which is what we are talking about, then no)
-
well that is all that zur sells, and he (we) are not asking for free, just time to do it, to make it so that you are time locked into anything is just not right. if its a separate quest that is attached to the daily for just that week then I don't see any problem with it.

lol@hardcore gamers

Well I've never heard of a University just all of a sudden offering a couple classes that are never on regular curriculum for one day and giving the students who were willing to attend and shirk their original responsibilities a reward in the form of a degree. Anyway like you're already being told - total dick answer.
-
Oh no, people don't like me for not agreeing, what ever will I do.
-
They don't like you because you are an idiot.
-
Lol, no, because they are butthurt.

Says the butthurt one...

Nicely done sir.

Bearbeitet von bigdeeztrankle: 10/9/2015 5:52:42 PMThat's a major dick answer bro sorry to say. Telling him not to play. really? Why even post if ur going to say something like that. That's the problem with us americans can't keep our mouth shuts, and can't keep a damn opinion to ourselves. He's just down he couldn't get a gun in his favorite game give him a break. And how u compare it to getting a degree is far off, were talking about a videogame bro, not important life events, smh.
-
Plus he did pay for the game $$$$
-
Yeah, funny how people can't keep their mouths shit isn't it?
-
Good comeback ur funny. And ur an actual adult?
-
Ha-ha good comeback ur funny. And u are an actual adult? Wow

I don't understand why being a casual player is bad.
-
It's not bad. Unless you are seeking special exceptions for being so. I have no problem with casual players at all, I have plenty of my friends list. The reason I don't take issue with them, is when they miss out on something they don't go on about how bungie has "screwed" them over because they had something going on. We all have priorities, I get that. I have to miss out on things too. But I don't get mad at Bungie about it. I chose my own path in life. If I have to miss out on a particular event because the kids have hockey, or scouta, or I gotta work. That's my decision.
-
But he's not saying Bungie screwed him. He's not being a whiny bitch like more than 50% of the forums. He's going at this in a (relatively) formal manner. He's giving a suggestion to help out some of the community, yet you're acting like he's saying "GIVE ME WHAT I WANT OR I QUIT!"
