From the Taken King footage shown with the information released by Game informer, we can see a Fatebringer with 10 rounds after reloading instead of 12. Field Scout bumps the magazine size of any weapon to the max available ammo capacity. With Hawkmoon we were given information about the perk holding aces and that upon unlocking that perk 2 rounds would be added to Hawkmoon's total. My question is this: What's going to happen to hand cannons like The Devil You Don't? Will it's base ammo count be reduced to 3 rounds? What about the Mos Gannon hand cannon, a white common hand cannon you can acquire early in leveling your character. That hand cannon has 3 rounds base and cannot be upgraded, so will that be a 1 bullet hand cannon? I want to know, what will Bungie do with these "special case" hand cannons?

Assuming its a percentage drop Then I have to wonder if it rounds up or down? Having fractional bullets round up easily prevents small initial mags from getting hit too hard Hypothetical Situation Assume 80% multiply 12 pre nerf Becomes 9.6, rounds up to 10 6 Becomes 4.8, rounds up to 5 5 becomes 4 4 becomes 3.2, rounds up to 4 , no effect 3 becomes 2.4, rounds up to 3, no effect So having the nerf round up stops small mags from being ridiculous Hoping they're smart and do this As opposed to straight integer truncation, which will always delete at least 1 even on te tiniest mags
