That's not a lag switch, if it were a lag switch you would not have been able to damage any of them at all.

Only one person usually lag switches so doesn't it only affect the one? I dunno mate, bungies call, I'm just throwing this out there incase.

It effects everyone. All a lag switch does is disrupts the flow of information from client to server. However the server can still communicate client side allowing them to stay in the game. Now since every lobby has two host one for each team, it would have to be the host of that team to use the switch. If Bungie had dedicated servers this problem would be eradicated. With dedicated servers if any sort of connection between client and server is stopped packet loss will occur. After extensive packet loss the server would boot the problem client and things would return to normal.

Fair enough, thanks for that. Yeah we all know bungie should have dedicated servers. Suppose $500,000,000 couldn't get them though.
