Husk of the Pit not dropping
Destiny Player Support recently launched an investigation into the drop rate of "Husk of the Pit" due to a noticeable increase in player reports that it was not dropping. We learned that there is in fact a bug that's preventing the Husk from dropping during the "Fist of Crota" mission. Even though people have been farming for this weapon since the dark below released like me!!!!! Before people where complaining because fire teams where being made for those who only have gjallarhorn but now there are going to be fire teams only allowing necrocasm. I just want it to Drop after the update pleaseeeeeeee.

1 AntwortenWhy does the link take you to a bungie webpage that says click here on bungie`s help Twitter account, and then when you click on that it takes you to their Twitter page where it refers you back here? Stop BS`n bungie fix this and fix it right. Don't take till the TTK to fix it either. It's not rocket science it's code. I know you're busy trying to get MORE money from us guardians, but put that aside and fix what you've put out FIRST! All guardians that agree reply with agreed.

Bearbeitet von QuiscalusMajor: 7/20/2015 8:46:27 PMI have had it drop after the update that provided the public Wolves events but it was before the official DLC launch. if a bug was introduced, it had to have been after that first big pre-DLC update. As for people mentioning the crux, i have seen that drop on occasion after the DLC hit, about as frequently as it ever did before the DLC. ymmv, of course.

Wow, how disappointing! People have been saying this since the HoW dropped and it's taken this long to investigate and address. I already have my Necrochasm, but can't help but feel bad for the players who have been grinding this mind numbing story mission for HotP. Bungie should be ashamed, allowing this to happen.

2 AntwortenAnd this Luke Smith is why you shouldn't retire content out of main playing areas. So that when you fail to quality assure checks of patches you have back ups that prevent players from discovering bugs that you can't fix for months. It's only a good memory when you don't associate past experiences with bugs. It would be better if the swords of crota spawned at alternative cycles from the house of wolves and continued to spawn during new content releases. The play spaces by the end of a game cycle (2 years so far in the future) should be full of battles of all sorts. Create logic to have them ignore sub 20 level chars so that those people can still build new chars, but let the 20+ players have many many hours of PVE game play fun.

Yeah I don't necessarily need a 2nd necrocasm but I have a 2nd crux and wanna show off so this drop rate or lack of drop all together should be fixed.

Thank you very much for addressing the issue. I know I have spent many hours grinding, bow chicka bow wow, trying to get the husk and I am at least glad it was a bug and not rngesus frowning apon me. I want to thank the developers for doing all they can on fixing the issue and hope to finally get my hands on one soon

3 AntwortenJust move Husk of the Pit to drop in CE Normal instead of Black Hammer as that will be useless after nerf anyway. Two birds; one stone.
