Husk of the Pit not dropping
Destiny Player Support recently launched an investigation into the drop rate of "Husk of the Pit" due to a noticeable increase in player reports that it was not dropping. We learned that there is in fact a bug that's preventing the Husk from dropping during the "Fist of Crota" mission. Please read Destiny Player Support's [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/help/article/13160]official help article[/url] for more information on this subject.

Why are people so pissed that it's another month? Husk isn't the only thing happening in that update and it's not like husk is the most important thing! Right now work on getting all the materials needed to upgrade it then continue playing like normal then when the update comes out you can get husk. Jeez what ignorant bitches...

Even a simple "We are still working on it, we do not currently have an ETA for a fix." would be better than radio silence. We need to hear something. Anything.

Nice to know you guys are resolving the problem, but players are impacted, wasted so much time farming for husk of pit should be addressed too. Right?

16 AntwortenWish this was recognized before I reached 1500 Blade of Crota kills, but better late than never. It is a little concerning that the problem wasn't recognized sooner and that so many users, including moderators and mentors, stated that it still drops and that we needed to just keep trying. While they may not have deliberately lied, the fact that they provided essentially inaccurate information based on their own assumptions as opposed to actual game experience will adversely effect the credibility of moderators/mentors, and it rightfully should - if we hadn't continued to question the 'confirmations' from the mods/mentors, this bug would have remained undiscovered. I know I have lost a lot of trust in them and will no longer consider their comments to be any different than those of other users. Users claiming recent drops of the Husk is another issue and I seriously hope that it is a case of the bug only affecting certain users or involving specific conditions that allowed it to continue to drop for some. The alternative - the Destiny community includes a lot of dishonest players who provided misinformation that (1) encouraged users to waste time on a fruitless endeavor and (2) interfered with the identification and recognition of the bug. Now I'm done venting - let us see what Bungie is able to do about this problem.

25 AntwortenI cannot believe this. I just spent 4 hours doing that mission over and over and over and over and... You get the idea. 114 deaths 3000+ kills and no Husk. Only to find a post from 3 EFFING days earlier saying it doesn't drop anymore. I am without words.

6 AntwortenIt will be fixed between this week and the taken king update.... Stop moaning we got there attention and its being sorted. Its not as simple as just do this or do that. Coding has cause and effect if you change one little thing it could cause an even worse result, so take that into account.. then they have to do testing to iron out glitches and what not... Be patient guardians its coming :)
