Make pvp modes for people deemed cheaters so the rest of us don't have to deal with them.
Please comment with any suggestions you have.
While I don't agree with a lot of posts about cheaters and them being as common as people like to say they are (a lot of community named "cheaters" are just McDonald's wifi players imo).
But back to the point. You clearly aren't banning all the people that truly are. Whether it's because you want more money that you wouldn't get with them banned or you're just too busy. (idk how you could want more money with your clever Skinner box game and dlc pricing but I also don't own stock in your company...)
In my opinion just fix it by adding a crucible game mode for cheaters. Not one we can optionally jump into. One that people named "cheater" by your system and reports must play in so they stop impacting the rest of the community. I believe it should be:
-Basic crucible (Only control and clash for options)
-No chance of doing trials/IB for their determined ban time
-Absolutely no rewards post match
-No gains towards crucible bounties (like how raid events don't effect vanguard bounties.)
There are many games that do things like this for quitters or cheaters, why not add it to help fix the shit storm that is pvp right now.
EDIT:
TL;DR make a crucible mode that cheaters are forced to play for their "ban" time. It has no rewards and no effect on bounties as punishment for the negativity they have brought to the community. (We bring enough of that to each other already)
