Bungie overall, is charging day one customers(people who bought the game before any DLC release) a grand total of $155 to get all the same content that you get in the $80 DIGITAL Collectors Edition! Yes, Bungie is now offering the extra content( the 9 cosmetic items we have all be whining about), but an an ADDITIONAL $20 to the $40 Taken King Digital Expansion. And its still a rip off!
It doesn't take a mathematician to calculate out how badly we are getting overcharged.
Day One Customers:
-Destiny $60
-Combo Expansion Pass: Includes Dark Below and House of Wolves $35
-Taken King Digital Expansion $40
-Taken King 3 Shaders, 3 emotes, and 3 class items $20
-VIP Package: Free with purchase of TK Digital Expansion
Grand Total: $155
Collector Edition Customers:
A single bundle including all the items listed in the Day one Customer list...
Grand Total: $80
Day One customers are paying $5 short of double the CE, for the same exact content.
Almost every game company that puts out regular expansion packs, puts those packs at $20 per pack. That usually includes a PLAYABLE story mode or PLAYABLE map areas. If they offer extra content that is COSMETIC, for example, Call of Duty offers Camo Packs for your weapons. Each pack available comes with three items: 1 Gun Camo, 1 Reticle, and 1 calling card. Three items for $2.99. If you purchase three of those packs, you get 9 COSMETIC items, for $10. Bungie however, is charging its VETERANS $20 for 9 COSMETIC items.
For all that its worth, as long time players from day one, can't Bungie just lower the price to $10 for the Cosmetic items?
I can't be the only one still upset by this?
