Has anybody else noticed how cheap sticky grenade super tracking is? For example, I'm using a heavy machine gun and I get tagged by a sticky grenade. I gun down the user but I immediately die. I feel that this is cheap because no other grenades do this. A nerf that I would suggest is to remove the magnetizing effect. Then they would require more skill to use, similar to throwing knives.
What's your opinion?
Edit: I do recognize that the magnetism screws up the grenades sometimes but my experience has been that it helps more often than not.
Edit 2: This would be a PvP nerf

You can blink out of a sticky grenade

Bearbeitet von Afawafa: 4/19/2015 4:00:07 PMSometimes the homing is really strong and makes the grenade do a ridiculous movement to stick some poor sap and sometimes the homing does stupid shit like causing the grenade to curve around the enemy. I'd actually be happier if they just did away with the homing and perhaps let them bounce a bit better off surfaces.

Whenever I throw one they -blam!-ing bounce off the guy for some stupid reason. Godsamn fusion grenades are buggy as shit
-
Just but a lag switch if it's really that big a deal to you
-
Auto aim on fusion grenades is op. It should be as it is on flux grenades. I have been stuck way too many times across the map. But that's Bungie, let's let everyone get some free kills.

Poll says it all, topic done.

12 AntwortenI shouldnt be allowed to die. Plz nerf everyone else except me.
-
i want sticks except magnetic because you know...magnetic.. to not have tracking i would like to see them come up with a more creative type of grenade that makes the classes a little more different.
-
The magnet is fine. But perhaps it shouldn't kill in one hit. Maybe leave the victim with half or third of health.

Personally I have a problem with so much tracking that mine fly away. I get stick arounds all the time, I now how to throw it. But I know occasionally enemies that I stick survive without a double shield like blessing of light. They just keep on trucking along until someone one shots them with a shotgun.

However I have thought that perhaps a twinge to the tracking in PvP would provide more room for what's otherwise a situation of very limited counter-play. For example, if someone sticks you with a Tripmine, well, that's all you and the skill/luck of the opposing player as they do not track in any shape, form, or fashion.

I say they should have made the genades that stick like halo plasma grenades, stick only when it actually impacts the player.
-
I've lost the conter of how many times a sunsinger or defender or bladedancer saw me and the first thing that he does is throw that stupid grenade at my face, I'm not asking for a nerf but seriously? PvP players are getting worst in each patch

6 AntwortenSince all three classes have one, I feel like, for the most part they're fine. Although, I don't think they should trace so hard. They will literally curve quite a bit to land on their target.
-
i feel like they should stick to people but only if you actually hit them... not follow or magnetise to people like they do its too op
-
They should stop tracking.
-
They should oneshot you anyway but I think they shouldn't be "auto-stick"... I mean, plasma nades in Halo aren't magnetic, you had to aim/predict the path in order to stick them. They're so cheap right now...

10 AntwortenYou propose to nerf 4 grenades because the person stuck you in the face? Gtfo
-
I dont think a 1 hit kill should curve towards targets.
-
1 AntwortenFlux Grenade? That's a sticky grenade
-
1 AntwortenIt's suppose to help and it's not like other classes don't have other advantages that Titans don't have. For example warlock melee has more range
-
Next your going to ask for Suppression Grenades to not cancel supers anymore. No, I don't agree with you. (You forgot flux grenades too)
-
1 AntwortenYeah maybe it would be better if they didn't track their targets. Like plasma grenades in Halo. They could still track in PVE though, just not in the Crucible.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von weily 페 요테: 4/19/2015 2:56:52 AMThey're fine. They already have a huge ass beam of light and auditory cues as a balancing mechanic. Edit: Oh wait. I thought this was about tripmines. Yeah nerf those scrub stickies. Edit2: although I think they already were nerfed a little since, twice now, I was able to blink out of them losing only a portion of my health.

Really? You got owned by a grenade and now you want a nerf? You need a spanking.
