Crucible idea (FFA)
A Crucible mode that would guarantee rewards for you "elite" players!!
[b][u]King of the Castle[/u][/b] style
(I guess it's another mode for [u]Free For All[/u])
1-2 or more legendary engrams in the middle of the map
3-5 or more blue
Kill someone with a purple/blue then they will drop it and you collect! (Or get killed while it stays on the floor) and last people to posses a engrams wins it (with the regular RNG rewards at the end because rewards are usually small anyway)
I know this will promote Camping
But there's ways around it like small maps only or a more fun way around it could be that they detonate if you don't kill someone within time limit. (Hot Potato) or the holders have a icon on the map showing locations like Flags in Control
So I'm not too sure if this would 100% work or be fun, but a guarantee that a player or few will get a decent reward was what made me think of this mode (sure, it's no Exotic but Cryptarch may bless you)
I mean I would play it for sure lol
Please drop a comment if you would or wouldn't play this (why not?) or if you have any ideas on how to improve my initial idea that's welcomed
Let's try to get this trending (if it's a good enough idea) maybe a developer will be inspired?

2 AntwortenI voted no for 2 reasons. 1- I don't think Bungie would want to disable fireteams. Take 4 players into a 6 max FFA and you can fix the match results. If it can be manipulated then the scumbags will manipulate it. It would need to be lone wolves only and Bungie must realise by now that the only thing keeping this game fun anymore is the people we play with. 2- This type of game mode isn't actually competetive. It sounds like a reskin of Regicide from Halo 4, which any decent player would tell you was just an exercise in frustraion as the only moments that matter are the final few. You could hose over the entire match then get blink-shotgunned 5 seconds from time and get nothing, while little Tommy 4 for 20 walks out with the legendary you held the entire game. If the goal is to satisfy elite or competetive players, the last place you should ever look for inspiration is 343i.
