Hey everyone. As u probably already know, many exotics are either extremely powerful or underpowered so i am going to suggest some ideas which could help balance exotics out. Feel free to suggest your own ideas or give some [u]constrictive[/u] criticism. The main aim is to balance in pvp and keep or improve effectiveness in pve.
[b]Auto Rifles[/b]
Increase overall impact and greatly increase damage against not guardian enemies for all rifles
[u]Hardlight[/u]
-Add reactive reload (increases damage after a reload) as a 3rd perk like bad juju's full auto
-reduce screen bounce
[u]Monto Carlo[/u]
-Increase reload speed
-Increase flinch to enemies
[u]Necrochasm[/u]
-Increase magazine to 200
-Curse bringer perk activates on all precision kills and has a chance to occur on non precision kills
-Swap cascade with persistence
[b]Hand Cannons[/b]
[u]Thorn[/u]
-Reduce magazine to 6
-Near max reload speed
-Add spray and play as third perk
This is reward precision and punish missing shots. Maybe also a ROF decrease and impact increase to slow ttk for head shots
[u]The Last Word[/u]
-Decrease damage to guardians, 4 body shot but still 2 head shot when hip firing
-Same ads damage
-Increase damage to minions of the darkness
[u]Hawkmoon[/u]
-Increase magazine to 16
This will reduce likely hood of a 2 shot head shot
[b]Pulse rifles[/b]
[u]Red Death[/u]
-Reduce ROF
-Increase impact
This should decrease headshot ttk
[b]Fusion rifles[/b]
[u]Pocket Infinity[/u]
-Increase base magazine to 5
-Reduce damage drop off so the last shot does half the damage of the first one
-Switch bigger magazine perk for armour pricing rounds
-Reduce spread of projectiles
[b]Sniper rifles[/b]
[u]Patience and Time[/u]
-Go invisible in 0.5 seconds but ones after take the original amount of time until a timer is finished (maybe ten seconds)
[u]No Land Beyond[/u]
-Drastically reduce time between shots (around one quarter of the time now)
-Double or triple reserve ammo
-Increase impact
[b]Shotguns[/b]
[u]Universal Remote[/u]
-Once the unique perk is unlocked, it can hit people at scout rifle ranges but only does around a quarter damage in pvp which begins at the total range drop off now
[u]4th horseman[/u]
-Massive reload boost
-Add shot package and rangefinder to the unique perk
[b]Heavy Machine Guns[/b]
[u]Super good advice[/u]
-Add persistence as a third perk that is unlocked when you get the gun
-Increase magazine to 80
[b]Rocket launchers[/b]
[u]Ghorn[/u]
-Remove proximity detonation from wolfpack rounds perk
[u]Dragons Breath[/u]
-Remove tripod for grenades and horse shoes
-Add clown cartilage as a third perk that comes unlocked with the gun
-Enemies hit but not killed by its initial blast receive DOT damage like the hunters napalm grenade
-Enemies that touch the solar flare also receive DOT burn damage

1 AntwortenEh, okay. But I think the biggest improvement you could really make to the exotics is to allow them to have different perk rolls.
