Less aim and perpetration skill yes, But real situational awareness and ability to see an opponent without any heads up will improve how you ( or atleast how I) play in regular clash
-
Uh no, knowing where your enemy is takes away from actual skill. Without that radar many of you are just average at best. It's pretty apparent that the radar is there to make average and bad players competitive. I don't think it should be the only game play mode, but it should be a permanent game play, and have different game modes.
-
If the radar is present that means the outcome is more reliant on actual gun skill.
-
Not really, not seeing or not knowing where your enemy is and still be able to shoot the enemy is skill. Also tactics are huge factor. You dislike the idea of tactics in the crucible. If you have the best connection in the radar mode you are going to win that battle most of the time.
-
No radar = camping in corners with shotguns The radar almost eliminates that completely making the gunfights more reliant on skill
-
Not true. Radar = grenades, supers, rockets, and shotgun spamming around corners. It also sets up precharge for fusion rifles.
-
All those can be done without radar No radar = a lot more panic supers
-
There is room for both game types. Hopefully, they'll make both games types permanent. That way I don't have to worry about corner spamming and you won't have to worry about me flanking your whole fireteam.
-
But less likely to hit target.
-
Not sure why you even care Based on your profile you rarely play pvp
-
Started playing it more now that I have accomplished pretty much everything I can in PvE.
-
Pretty much the same with me I usually pvp at the end of the week but now it's basically all I have left to do so I've been playing it more
-
Without radar there are a lot more campers and it becomes more of a twitch shooter.
-
I guess we agree to disagree. My stats are significantly better without it. And I feel like I have been sniped less.
-
Fair enough.
-
Actually means more skill because it would then require more map knowledge and map awareness.
-
It induces camping and leans the gameplay more towards being a twitch shooter. Plus you still need map awareness when radar is active as well.
-
Scrubs run around with shotguns without being detected
-
Better look around
