I have roughly 950 Crucible matches under my belt at this point, so I feel qualified to assess the rewards for PvP. My assessment: they are terrible. Issues (1) good things are exceedingly rare, so rare in fact that I have basically given up on even thinking they will occur and it has sapped a lot of my interest in Destiny's Crucible; (2) Crucible is PURE RNG, which according to a poll I ran, is favoured by very few Destiny Players; please institute conditional probabilities where the chances of a good drop improve under certain conditions (maybe top half of each team). t could still be RNG, but with just that tiny little bit of a bonus for performing well. (3) Please add energy and shards to the PvP loot table.

I think everyone should be guaranteed a drop, even a common auto rifle. But the thing is with crucible, it retains the grinding of PvE too. And for marks you have play at least 34 games if you won ALL of them. It's just a grindfest, like a gay orgy. That's the way it's programmed.
