So after reading through yet another news update from Bungie I scrolled down to see what people thought of it and found that even after they said they wanted to hear from the players, they had shut down the comments. That's a first, I mean Bungie has gotten really good at using a lot of words to say nothing.
This was my favorite part of the update, "Our goal is to figure out what will result in the best experiences and make the most players happy. Every day, we have to think about how we allocate our time. Some plans can be surprisingly complicated to execute." <-- bascially means we have to do the least amount possible that will keep the fans on board whilst using the least amount of money.
What do you guys think?

I believe they are listening, though I do not believe it to be a great job. On the same note I do not believe they are doing a terrible job at listening either. Now there is a lot to be desired from this update, this is true, but I do not see this update as bad. We've got a lot more clear definitive answers from this update than we have, I daresay, almost all previous updates combined. We now know that Vault Space is being worked on and we know some long standing Raid fixes are being worked on (even though this was still pretty vague). I am relatively grateful for this week's update and I'd like to let DeeJ know that. It is obvious to me by now that Bungie has no idea what the community defines as a "good update." I hope DeeJ finds this response to let him know that this update is headed in that direction. Not there yet, but it is definitely headed there. As far as closing the comments goes, that is definitely strange. The only thing I can think of is that DeeJ got such a backlash from the absolutely unacceptable update from the week prior that he decided to shut off comments for this week. Unfortunately for DeeJ that will only reinforce the community's suspicion that Bungie really doesn't want to hear from us. EDIT: Nvm, evidently the reason behind shutting down comments was b/c all the crap and/or all the different topics that people usually post in those comment sections. I suppose that makes sense.
