I'm curious to see if there are a significant number of players who have never attempted a raid before, despite being the necessary level.
So... if you've hit level 29 or above, comment here with your current level, when you started playing, and why you haven't tried raiding (yet?) :3
Edit: There are a bunch of awesome people who have commented in this thread that they're willing to give unseasoned raiders a hand. If you're considering giving raids a try, why not start by reaching out to one of these players? Just please remember, the biggest requirement in learning how to raid is not your equipment, not your level... it's courtesy, honesty, and an ability to listen more than you talk.
Happy raiding, Guardians!

2 AntwortenThe number one reason I haven't is that you must have voice communication with the other players for raids, and after playing years of online games, I can't stand listening to most gamers. I know exactly how harsh that sounds, but it's the truth. Not interested in being screamed at by random players because I zigged when I should have zagged. Of course, I have PSN friends who are good to chat with, but not enough of them are into Destiny or have the time for raids for me to form a team I could work with. Now if I can find find other players I find suitable, and who don't think I'm a dick in return (because this goes both ways) then I might do it. But what am I supposed to do, audition people so they meet my standards? Geez, that's not going to go well in any gaming community. Just proposing that would be insulting to most players. So it boils down to if I knew the other players, I would, but since I don't, I'm not interested in working with strangers.
