I'm curious to see if there are a significant number of players who have never attempted a raid before, despite being the necessary level.
So... if you've hit level 29 or above, comment here with your current level, when you started playing, and why you haven't tried raiding (yet?) :3
Edit: There are a bunch of awesome people who have commented in this thread that they're willing to give unseasoned raiders a hand. If you're considering giving raids a try, why not start by reaching out to one of these players? Just please remember, the biggest requirement in learning how to raid is not your equipment, not your level... it's courtesy, honesty, and an ability to listen more than you talk.
Happy raiding, Guardians!

3 AntwortenFirst post, been lurking for quite some time. The main reason for not raiding? Ultimately it is low confidence in my gaming skills. Don't want to ruin anything for anyone else. I started online gaming with quake 1,2, and 3. Actually placed 3rd in a Korean quake 3 tourney when I was stationed over there. But mouse and keyboard is much easier. I also played EQ1 heavily at launch, EQ2, some WOW, shadowbane...etc.. but never participated in a raid. I had something like 2200 hours logged on my EQ1 character as a casual player over the years. Heh, that character name is my gamertag. So.. it is what it is... maybe someday I'll try.
