I'm curious to see if there are a significant number of players who have never attempted a raid before, despite being the necessary level.
So... if you've hit level 29 or above, comment here with your current level, when you started playing, and why you haven't tried raiding (yet?) :3
Edit: There are a bunch of awesome people who have commented in this thread that they're willing to give unseasoned raiders a hand. If you're considering giving raids a try, why not start by reaching out to one of these players? Just please remember, the biggest requirement in learning how to raid is not your equipment, not your level... it's courtesy, honesty, and an ability to listen more than you talk.
Happy raiding, Guardians!

I like the idea of what they're supposed to be, but I don't have a solid group to raid with and trying to get it done with randoms is often a good way to becoming acquainted with some of the most obnoxious pieces of human-shaped chunks of shit that I've ever met. I cherry-pick raids for what I want, and then I leave and go back to PvP. I have a couple of friends who I will run through the beginning parts of CE for, or help with VoG from time to time if they're stuck on a section, but that's only to help them get gear to reach a higher level. Raids are marred by the lack of matchmaking for people who don't ever have a full crew and end up in an endless cycle of LFGs and getting stuck with assholes. (I shouldn't have to go out of my way to group up with retarded jackasses. That should be an in-game feature.) I spend most of my time in the Crucible. I prefer murdering this game's toxic community over trying to navigate a raid with them.
