[Open House] Hey Bungie, love the update! But about weapon balancing...

After I downloaded 1.1.1, I've done lots of things. I blew myself up several times with my own rockets, just to see if half of them didn't blow up. I've swapped weapons and goods, back and forth from the Companion app in-between strikes and raids, and it's a dream! Having the time to try, I've already used a good share of guns on the PvP and PvE side. Pulse Rifles, Pistols, Shotguns. All of those guns feel extremely fair, and well balanced (Red Death is a name I'll fear, though.). But I've took the time to sit with auto rifles, and I feel a little off with them in some respects. They seem a little slumped with damage, and I'm not sure if it's just something I need to adjust to before really falling in love with them again. Sure, I may be wrong in thinking about the changes this way, but I feel like there's something I'd like to hear about the balancing. I'm not asking for an improvement to the weapons, or anything drastic. I was just wondering if the damage nerfs made were anything essential to level the playing field, and how people are taking the auto rifle balances. I definitely understand the range nerf, as well as the weapon being the ideal weapon of massive short-to-medium range destruction; but I can't help but shake the feeling the damage nerf got a little bit much on the PvP and PvE side of things. And I'll admit, I was a SUROS user ever since I got my hands on the bastard. If y'all can, I'd love to hear from the team and see what they think. I've appreciated what y'all have done, and I'm looking forward to more stuff the team pumps out!
