Not when it first launched on PC, the loot system was worse than Destiny's.
You guys that got it for console got the brand new loot 2.0 system, pc had to wait until the frigging expansion before we got it.
Granted, we had the auction house, where any legendary was worth 250 BILLION gold.
The struggle you never knew . . .
RIP Auction House

Lol def sold a nice roll yellow Ammy for 900M gold. The good ole days

400 hours in 1.3....never get that time back. Played the auction house more than playing the game.
-
You could actually make money playing the AH, which was sometimes more fun than the actual game.
-
Sure, but put the money you made into perspective, "I made 20$ for playing for 200 hours". <<<< see how dumb that sounds. lol

200 hours goes by quick. Set my AH up, farm for a bit, come back to check the AH, hunt for noob bargains, rinse and repeat. I probably made close to $300 one week. But then I dumped it right back in.

My point is that exactly most put it right back in, so no real money was ever made. Except by the Chinese farmers and exploiters. Even still im sure it is chump change compared to a real job. Which is exactly what diablo started to feel like after a bit.
