The gun has no place in any content right now. One of the most iconic guns in Destiny history should be good

Hopefully not just for the sake of it.

3 RepliesRevert it to the D1 firing sound as well, please.

1 ReplyAn make it sound like it did in d1 the d2 sound sucks

I have no issue with the state Vex is in currently in both PVP and PVE. Still a great weapon. Really fun to have it with hazardous propulsion having two columns build up to then be able to shot a huge amount of damage. (Yes I know it doesn’t get the buff damage from hazardous)

Since choir is so powerful buffing vex won’t break the game either

They wlll ALWAYS nerf things, its part of the Hamster Wheel

Agree don’t have it but as a raid exotic it should be over powered -
7 RepliesAlready did. It was 360 before they buffed it to 390 like a month after VOG returned. Then nerfed it back to 360 because they felt 360 ARs were in a good spot or something. Icr.

Edited by UltraRage101: 9/18/2024 8:35:11 PMI like overpowered weapons but I think vex is right where it is, the D2 is a lot better than the D1 vex in all honesty.
-
I think it’s fine in PvE. It’s damage bonus is solid letting it tear through red-bars and it’s alt fire is very good in champ-heavy content. In PvP, it’s more of an issue of High Impact Autos being absolutely terrible…
-
Honestly, I just wish they could make it work faster. I don't mind the ebb and flow of some guns being good then bad, just how it works. Something that has always bugged me though is the slow and clunky reload speed because, I think, the gun is checking if you are trying to swap firing styles or just reload. It reminds me alot of trying to hop off my skimmer. So slow and aggravating I opt not to use the gun entirely.

1 ReplyHow about make the rpm tied to the overcharge stacks. 0 charges= 360 rpm 2 charges= 370 rpm 4 charges= 380 rpm 6 charges= 390 rpm If you activate temporal unlimiter it goes back to 360 and you have to charge it up again to regain the faster rpm. Is this really that hard to do? It just would be nice if vex mythoclast was useful for something other than nothing at all really.
-
2 RepliesI think it's still very powerful in pvp with a bit more of a skill ceiling
-
Fr it’s just a high impact auto at this point. 1 second ttk is abysmal for a raid exotic. The linear mode is fun tho.

It IS good. I even use it in my raid damage rotations and I’m consistently top DPS -
They never even bothered to fix to reload delay bug

I 100% agree with this and have been wanting it since they changed it. The outlier for this weapon is the warlock boots that give radiant on kills. Which is what made the mythoclast preform higher than expected ( as they said the reason for the nerf was) But looking at usage charts and numbers since that nerf, vex is so far down the list it’s actually becoming a forgettable weapon. As someone who put almost 4K crucible and 30k+ pve kills on my own. After the rpm change, I hardly want to use it. I personally hate the 360 archetype. There too clunky and slow
-
Because someone who never got lucky enough for it to drop. Decides to cry yelling nerf it. The gun is killing me not fair. Same people getting killed by any gun claiming everyone is cheating.
-
100% agree! With the myriad of overpowered weapons in the game right now it needs a buff back to its former glory.
-
3 RepliesTotally agree. I honestly don't know why it's not a simple copy and paste from how good it was in D1.
-
Let alone the fact that you have to grind a raid for it
-
Upvote. 100% agree. Was one of my main PvP weapons back when I actually liked this game before bungie burned it to the ground
