If raids continue to come out on Fridays then the emblem should be available for the first 48 hours to account for people who have jobs they can’t take time off for and for people who go to school. Having the raid on a Friday is just an inconvenience and alienates people with lives.

1 ReplyThen players who can not do a day 1 because they are not good enough to complete contest modes difficulty do not get a chance to do the raid on the first weekend when they have their days off.
-
No. Make time for the Raid or don't. Then go and complain that it has to be handed to you on a silver platter. Man, the entitlement is in here is uh wow very staggering. Worse the LoL gamers.

1 ReplyBut I don’t have a life and it makes me feel special because I get to play vidja games while everyone has to work. 🤡
-
No. People are adults and they can't have everything
-
why they should, 48h emblems last time was cuz near half of the players in the raid crashed all the time, stop crying and move on
-
2 RepliesIf you're that hell bent on getting the emblem just take the day off...
-
2 RepliesIf it was 58 hours it wouldn't be a day one emblem. Take a day off work.
-
37 RepliesNope <3 you don't deserve it if you can't do it the first 24 hrs
-
46 RepliesOnly reason you want a 48 hour is to get carried through it like many did with vow.....
-
14 RepliesYou guys work and/or go to school for 24 hours every Friday?
-
I feel so alienated. Imagine saying such a thing and then claiming you had a life. Video games amarite
-
The easier thing to do would just have contest mode last until the weekly reset, or for the first week of the raid’s launch at most.

3 RepliesBungie’s actions here are absolutely insane to me. We are currently in a failing economy where middle class people have been beaten into poverty - depleting their saving & using up their vacation/sick leave just to make ends meet - and Bungie’s answer to abruptly changing the raid release precedence is tell their customers “We’ve gave you a month to call off work.” Even more insulting is that they’re doing it because they don’t want to have their employee’s schedule be altered. We had one raid have a messy launch and Bungie’s answer is to screw over their working class customers rather than just having their crew work one Saturday a season. Hahahaha. Geez.

1 ReplyI honestly think the ideal scenario to please the most amount of people would be a 48 hour window for Contest Raids starting on Friday Bungie would get to make sure the launch is smooth, and most anyone who wants the opportunity to play, in my opinion, peak Destiny would get the chance Only complaint I really see arising is from the Emblem exclusivity crowd, to which I say add an extra Emblem for top 500 players or teams. Doesn't even have to be that different, just add some animated sparkles or something
