idk if you guys realize this or not but the combat acceleration perk on nightfalls is making all of our abilities take like 5+ minutes to come back. The gain in regen from actually doing damage and gaining stacks of combat acceleration is not even noticeable because the actual base time of EVERY ability is like 300% longer. I don't think needing to wait literally 5 whole minutes for one grenade or melee is fair or balanced in any way. Even on my ability-based titan with low cooldowns it still takes 4 minutes to use anything. PLEASE either get rid of combat acceleration or heavily reduce the increase in base cooldown on all abilities. 5 minutes for a barricade/grenade/melee is absolutely insane and makes them completely useless no matter what nightfall. If combat acceleration is one of the perks for nightfalls I'm literally just not going to play it now because I love using my abilities and I cant use them without waiting FIVE MINUTES. Please fix this.

It might as well be “abilities disabled” modifier.

Just do the nightfall the next day and it won't have that modifier. Not sure what you mean by fix it.

4 RepliesD2 players would get slammed by veteran d1 players lmfao

1 ReplyIf Bungie did this for Crucible along with the matchmaking changes next season, Control might actually be playable again.

2 RepliesHave you tried getting good?

Probably one of my least favorite modifiers to play with, but I noticed it seemed to be less painful when using weapons with a high rate of fire a while back when i was grinding some nightfalls. It was absolute misery with a bow or handcannon, but was a bit less brutal with something like an SMG or auto rifle

I had like x16 and it still did almost nothing. Took 2x as long for my abilities to return, despite x16 combat acc. I don't mind making sth more difficult, but this simply destroys the flow of the game and puts you off. It's annoying as all hells.

It's a daily modifier. Just do the nightfall the next day and it won't be combat acceleration.
