Start grasp of avarice and you have unlimited thrall and acolytes coming out of the loot cave. Put on some music and zone out. Easy money.

If you love the weapon that much, you would be using it for all activities. Activities and encounters give weapon exp.

2 RepliesPeople are saying higher tier nightfalls give 35% per run. Three runs a level, twenty levels; 10 min a run times 60 runs that's way way too long.. I'd rather sit in Shuro Chi for 30 min and get the weapon to 13. You don't need to go higher than that unless you are 100% certain to enhance a perk. But yea the experience gains need to be way way higher for shaped weapons.

Run low tier nightfalls. They give 35% on completion.

Edited by Pookie: 7/28/2022 7:52:47 AMIt doesn't. You also get XP from completing activities. The real issue here is that Bungie is not transparent in how the weapon XP is gained. I have multiple kinetic weapons with wildly different kills around the same levels.

run NF's, best way to level up the craftables

Edited by DarkMoonWolf666: 7/28/2022 5:22:51 AMGood thing it doesn't !

Edited by Scourged One: 7/28/2022 4:29:15 AMIt doesn't. Discussion over, lmao. At most it'll take about 120ish kills to level ANY weapon up once. Completing strikes, or any other event such as crucible matches, Gambit, or even lost sectors and public events gives a % boost.

Run activities with the weapon equipped. I got my Austringer to level 20 with only about 990 kills on it.

Edited by Darth45789: 7/27/2022 9:50:39 PMDo something other than Shuro Chi checkpoint. My Austringer is lvl 6 with 172 kills.

Goes faster in pvp

Pretty sure it goes off how much exp the thing you killed would’ve gotten. Such as finishing a boss fight would net you exponentially more exp for the weapon than fighting 300 thrall. Just do strikes or something with the gun, you’ll get exp even if you don’t use it because finishing, for instance, a strike would still reward some. Also works for deepsight.
