Hi. I'm not sure if this is the right place to make this post. Not sure where to start. My husband (AngelisInfernis) plays Destiny. On June 10, we left for our (very delayed) honeymoon road trip. Our rental car and nearly all of our belongings (including our wedding rings, clothes, my professional camera, camping gear, etc.) were stolen on the first night while we were sleeping at our hotel. My husband's personalized Garden of Salvation jacket was in the car. We were told that some items were left behind when the car was recovered, including clothes, so we had been hoping his jacket was in there. Unfortunately, we retrieved the remaining items yesterday and the jacket was gone. He is really bummed as it was his favorite jacket. I’m wondering if anyone knows how to get in touch with someone about potentially replacing it? I know it was a limited-time jacket, but I'm trying to do anything I can to make his day a little brighter with all of this. He doesn’t know I’m writing this; I’m hoping to be able to surprise him if anything is able to be done. Thanks for any help. I attached a photo of him with the jacket (and our cute pupper, Revan). :)

2 RepliesHello there, Your question would be better served by asking the Bungie Store customer service as the forums are completely separate from the store and have no access to the information you are looking for. Tickets are handled in the order they are received and during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. https://bungiestore.com/pages/customer-service

4 RepliesThis is a FAKE go fund me story

1 ReplyIf this story is real then I wish you the best but it seems fishy to me. The fact that a moderator would answer this post but none of the other hundreds of posts where legitimate questions are asked makes me even more suspicious.

4 RepliesI think it's weird that y'all lost so much, but are worried about a jacket. Yeah. Thieves suck. A public beating with a rataan cane is in order.

12 RepliesYou and your husband even take off your wedding rings before bed? Never heard that one before.
-
11 RepliesWhy did you leave your wedding rings in the car on your honeymoon? Shouldn’t you have been like … I dunno .. wearing them? I also find it interesting that the jacket is the thing that is prioritised in your endeavour to recover and replace things that got stolen. Priorities?

1 ReplyYou married a guy who actually spent money on that thing?
good luck
1 ReplyUse the insurance money to buy a nerf gally then shoot him with it constantly for buying the jacket in the first place.

1 ReplyFirst, I'd try posting in the Help section of the forums. There's people in there with a little more power and it's a more visible section for them. Bare minimum they may be able to point you in the right direction If that doesn't work, I'd probably try making a stink on Reddit and Twitter. Bungie is pretty uninvolved in a visible way when it comes to the Destiny Forums, and engage with Reddit/Twitter more often You could try seeing if there's support links on the Bungie Store, but the company that runs it is pretty famous for being a subpar experience

1 ReplyOof, that really sucks. Hope y'all get a replacement.
-
1 ReplyShame that that happened to the both of you. He is a lucky man to have someone going out of their way like this. Hope it works out in the end.

Unfortunately he will need to earn a new jacket from a new raid. The limited things are just that limited run, or your next best bet is to buy one off ebay at a gouged price and take it to a tailor for recustomization. Ive had a few jackets in the past and am very careful to even wear them as I know if its gone its gone. Best of luck.

1 ReplyNormally they don't replace things just due to how they run stuff sadly but I'd still go ahead and poke Dmg or Liana about it on Twitter or post this here on the Help forum and see if its seen and passed on to one of them. Best of luck!
