its basically the title. Vex mythoclast drops are astronomically low with barely any bad luck protection. I have seen a few guardians with 200+ clears and still nothing. I even have a friend who crossed 300 looted clears yesterday and got nothing. The drop rate needs to be tuned a little bit and implement a better bad luck protection system. Maybe make it so if you pass a certain amount of clears you get the vex as a guaranteed drop. I understand that the weapon is amazing and if it becomes more available, it can make crucible annoying but grinding a raid for 100h and not getting the raid weapon is just absurd. Sure, people can be unlucky, -blam!- happens, but being this unlucky is just absurd. Another question: what is the drop rate of this thing? i have seen articles saying that the drop rate is 5% with 0.25% increase for the first clear of the week. Others say that the drop rate is 1% with no bad luck protection. The braytech website and app say that the drop rate is around 28% (spoiler it isn't). I think the drop rate should be more clear.

Edited by BEANS (TIMELOST): 7/18/2022 9:07:40 PMVex is pretty strong and is sought after because it is so powerful. If it is made too easy to acquire, then the gun will be nerfed into the ground and all that work that was put into getting it will be totally wasted. So here is was I believe is the best idea; after 100 runs, if the player has not received vex yet, the chance of vex dropping increases by 1 percent per full vog run. It must be a full run to keep the difficulty of acquiring the vex intact, while also giving players an increased chance of getting it each time. Meaning if the drop rate is at 1 percent for the first hundred runs of vog, then by 200 runs the drop rate should be 100 percent. The vex should be hard to get, but it should still be acquirable, but for people who just have bad luck basing the acquirablility on RNG is absolutely horrid. I have run Vog around 236 time now and don't intend to stop. I cannot count the number of times I have run VOG and watched as people who have only ran 30 or 40 or maybe it is their first time acquire it. The process needs some serious tweaking, please bungie, for the sake of all us bad luck people. I would appreciate it if others could chime in as well on the specific changes they believe would best help this problem. Do you agree with me, or do you think other action needs to be taken if any at all?
