Accidentally linked xbox account on companion app and my main charaters got deleted
basically had a steam account with my main characters tried logging into the companion app and not remembering which log in was which some how connected my microsoft account to my bungie so my 1329 light level hunter got erased is there an easy fix to this if any fix at all?

1 ReplyI take it you don't know how cross save works. You pick one account as your primary and then it is that accounts characters that you use on any linked platforms. All other characters on the other platform's account become DORMANT. Nothing is deleted. Do a search on Bungie.net for "Cross save issues" to bring up a help guide. At the bottom of the guide is a form you can fill in asking Bungie to switch the linked accounts around. Note. This is done at Bungie's discretion and during their business hours. Also note.. if you disable cross save everything will return to normal but you will have to wait 90 days before you can use cross save again.
