Make menagerie meaningful again!
Well, running Menagerie over and over just to get ONE SINGLE DROP that is a terrible drop in 99% of the time makes me wanna puke.
since you nerfed Hand Cannons i have to re-farm my Austringer, Waking Vigil and Trust because my former rolls are terrible now, it's not fun to run menagerie for 1 drop.
change it back to 3-4 drops......

However I do agree something needs to be done to fix this activity it's pretty dead in terms of finding players.

Make everything meaningful again! At the end of D1 Bungie made everything meaningful again. Reasons to raid, strikes with loot, etc. It felt like they learned a lot of valuable lessons. And then...D2 launched. And now we see they have learned nothing, or forgot everything.

Probably not gonna happen since its not directly aligned to revenue generation. Bungie would want to maximize revenue by promoting seasonal activities and rewards, so that they can sell season passes. The days of menagerie are long gone and if they work on reviving those old content, it would be at the cost of taking players away from those new seasonal activities and hence lack of motivation in buying the season pass.

I think they could change the drop table as follows: -1 drop is guaranteed every run to every player -1 extra drop is guaranteed every run for people with Masterworked Chalices -1 extra drop is guaranteed for completing at least 1 encounter before time runs out -1 extra drop is guaranteed if you complete the boss encounter flawlessly (this is on an individual basis, I.E. the bonus drop is only offered to each person who completes it flawless -1 extra drop is given for the first three runs of Menagerie each week This way, a low skill team of blueberries will still get 2 drops on the first three runs (3 drops if their Chalice is Masterworked), but if you're higher skilled or form a team to complete the bonus objectives, you can earn 5 drops for the first 3 runs and 4 from each consecutive run. Additionally, change the Chalice to work more like the Sundial. Instead of combining runes, you have three rows of rune slots: The top row lets you select a "Weapon" or "Armor" reward, the middle row lets you pick the specific weapon or armor piece, and the third row lets you pick the Masterwork or Armor Affinity. This way you can throw the Vex Offensive and Sundial armor and weapons in the Chalice after the season ends Plus, Bungie could even invest in adding the Vex Offensive Add Wave & Oracle encounter, as well as all three of the Sundial encounters, into the Menagerie as "simulations", just for the sake of diversity, and potentially even the Undying Mind and Psion boss encounters. The Menagerie would become a sort of "content vault" to keep items earnable but still prioritize new activities

They did replace the "powerful rewards" counter to the "bonus rewards" counter. If I'm right, you can upgrade your chalice to get more of them. When you have it available, it drops 3-4 of whatever you slotted.

I get 2-3 drops, you could get 4? That’s crazy. I do wish they would rotate gear into the menagerie though.

They honestly should just put it back to like it was when it was "broken" since they control the rng anyways. Just make it so there's a higher chance of getting something good than there is now.

I get several drops each time, but it is because I finished everything and it rewards me for that. You might consider finishing everything.

I still run menagerie alot, it's fun. Just make heroic runs Pinnacle drops.

I’ve been getting 2-3 drops per run since my chalice is upgraded. However, after I run more than the allotted bonus drop runs (see your chalice for the number/ status before the run), I only get 1 drop and have to switch to another character to get the 2-3 drops going again.

They should change up the weapons you can get. Sidearms, Scout Rifles, SMG's ect.
