We are always working to combat cheating and actively working on improvements to our methods. If you do come across cheaters, please report them in game or you can use our cheater [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967]report form here[/url].

Isn't that like people having their identities stolen, then the credit agencies telling us to report them, instead of them protecting the info?? Probably not worded correctly, bit I hope the point is made. Bungie should be investing in the game to make it uncheatable; not making us report, and not doing much, if anything about it; often bullying the people that report the cheaters.

so do game devs really not have balls anymore? i remember playing games back in the day and if you where caught, the whole lobby was alerted, on top of your name was posted onto the board of cheaters. i used to love checking out the boards and seeing high level players getting exposed for cheating. hell in some games you could grief them as the sat an watched there accounts be deleted right in front of them and people would gather around to watch the cheaters execution in game. guess we gotta protect them snow flakes huh?

We would except there's no indication that those reports actually do anything. There should be a strong enough anti-cheat system built into the game that players don't need to report cheating much if at all.

Actions speak louder than words. At the start of D2, when it was on Blizzard servers, Blizzard had anti cheat enabled. It instantly banned most streamers for using software on their gaming pc that was known to cause lag. Bungie disabled anti cheat a few days later. It's in the early twabs if you have any doubts.

Maybe the proof is in the pudding? We're getting a shite product. The first spit in the face of the community moment was when dedicated servers weren't implemented when D2 launched.

Why do we have to police the game for you? Your system should be doing that already.

Why report them? Your system should be good enough that there shouldn't be any cheaters to report to begin with. Unless you dont care at all that you allow them to get through and are simply waiting for ppl to hit the report so you dont have to put the extra effort into making and maintaining a good enough firewall for the game.

I don't know about the others but doesn't look that report is working. I'm reporting ppl that is so clear that they cheat and guess what? I'm against them again and again. And I'm not speaking for the next game! I'm against them the next days weeks etc. Ppl are even selling those cheats in social media. Check the leaderboards you see ppl with inhuman stats: 99% accuracy,100% win rate, 6-7 kd. Just REMOVE the pvp from the free to play bundle if is so difficult to track them.
