For you who don't know what I'm talking about Juggler, it was a modifier in D1 that stated: you can't get ammo drops for the weapon that you are using
Meaning if you are killing with your machine gun you will almost never see a heavy drop (except finders which give you like 20 shots -_-)
Same with your special and primary weapons although its much less severe
I really don't like this play style cuz it's kinda limiting, I cant tell you how many times I ran out of recluse ammo just killing red bars and had to switch to the other weapons just to get a white box drop
As for the nightfall :
They just nerfed all ammo drops, you get 2 heavy bricks in average per run, special is also hard to get just because juggler is in the game.
If you nerfed everything that was good in the game (super returning exotics, exotic weapons, autoloaders, etc...) At least give us the ammo back so you know, we can shoot the guns in the video game
I'm really sick of seeing two red zeros in my heavy and special slots in the nightfall

Try managing your ammo better or use ammo finder perks.
-
The ammo economy has always been bad in this game, juggler is such a pain. Bungie even nerfs ammo drops?? Lmfao, well that’s just typical.
-
I’d give anything if exotics could have anti barrier and other rounds. Outbreak Perfected would be top tier
-
I once punched a clown in the pee pee. he stopped Juggling immediately.
-
If you're running out of ammo then either you're not shooting the enemies and just wasting ammo or you can't hit crits properly. I wasn't running out of ammo even on Master NF this week. So hit enemies not air!
-
This the problem with Bungie. They overcorrect. We were probably too powerful towards the end of Opulence, but instead of actually thoughtfully balancing the game, they just cut everything across the board and now it feels like we’re back to Y1 levels of boring game play again.
-
So you want a more child friendly version? Sounds great. I understand a challenge can get boring as opposed to rushing through everything. That way everyone can complain about no challenging end game and nothing to do. The game is getting dumbed down enough without your help

Remove famine and juggler from the game as permanent modifiers. An put in light over load or whatever the modifier that allows super and abilities to refill faster next heavyweight, grenadier, and brawler to pve.
-
More importantly they should fix their game and allow us to collect armor at the end of Escalation Protocol, right now we get nothing...

How bout the perks/mods that were removed from the 5 of swords card? Who asked for that?
-
I agree and have said this for a long time a stealth juggler has been present for most of D2. Just need to remember to keep switching weapons that is what I do.
-
D2 players never experienced ODST Firefight when Famine was in the set and it really shows
-
This games ammo economy is horrid. When I run out of ammo for all 3 of my guns then it isn't dropping enough ammo ....
-
It's called challenging your player base. Imagine, create a 1st person looter shooter and in the Dev meetings they are looking for new dynamics to increase challenge. Some smart guy (gal) pipes up, I know let's make ammo drops highly random and significantly reduce the drop rate as the dps required increases. Makes sense right? Challenging....
-
I hate that they made juggler full time. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.
-
When did they nerf PvE ammo drops? It was bad enough only getting 1-3 drops a match with my Night Terror sword and Whisper Of Worm sniper mid last season. When they finally buffed it at one point mid last season and I started seeing 5-10 drops (also got a void chest piece so I could run sniper rifle reserves.) but that was so much better. But if they nerfed it again it’s going to be obnoxious as hell to get it done.
-
I have no problem with the modifier, but it shouldn't be permanently in the game as a "hidden modifier." That's BS.
-
I agree and it seems it's still just a lucky chance for heavy to drop. I'm not using a heavy ammo mod or finisher either. Energy cost is just stupid high imo.
-
Agreed I don’t like playing PvE in this game anymore because it is not a fun or rewarding experience. The only reason I do is for upgrade materials to upgrade my armor that I use in crucible cause I still play crucible.
-
Learn how to conserve ammo. NFs are a cakewalk. Two best set-ups: -Two Izanagi/One Divinity -Mountaintop/Anarchy There should be no reason at all that you would run out of ammo.
-
Try an special weapon with the perk 'lead from gold' like martyr's retribution. It can extend your special weapon usage. Combine it with ammo finders and scavengers for even greater ammo gains. Also buzzard can really help you with saving ammo since you can use it as an elemental weapon if you want to.
-
I find that precision kills with my kinetic or energy, along with heavy ammo finder gives me plenty in the 980. I run reserves and scavenger for whichever heavy I'm using.
-
Yeah, I've noticed the ammo bullshit in Nightfalls. It's actually ridiculous. The ammo changes weren't in the patch notes were they?
-
I've gone through entire nightfall runs and not seen a single brick of heavy. I've gone through entire boss fights without seeing a brick of heavy. Fun times trying to take down tanky bullet sponges with shitty primaries.
-
They nerfed ammo drops? Was that in some patch notes? I definitely agree with you either way. I can go an entire nightfall run and not see a brick of heavy drop.
