It's kind of annoying and I wish I could turn it off.
-
It’s a bug. We are working on a fix. I was hoping it would go out with the next hot fix but we are prioritizing some more pressing issues like Dynamo mod issue and some issues with resonant stems and Escalation Protocol rewards not working correctly. The Eververse icon issue will be fixed in a future update.

It's their way of drawing in those easily influenced to eververse, to buy more things because that's all Bungie cares about now...
-
Edited by Demon_XXVII: 12/14/2019 1:28:59 PMFlash! And I wouldn’t doubt Bungie isn’t using it to boost players visits to the Store ...setting the bait - hoping someone buys something with Silver It should be something so basic in the code/tool tips that they could easily turn off You can betcha life if it was handing out free stuff, it would be down & fixed within hours!
-
They say it’s a bug, but in reality it’s just a way to always remind you that eververse exists and you should spend all your money on silver.
-
Hmm...reminds me of when mom took me to k-mart and they had blue light specials..so I`m ancient does anyone else remember that.

Edited by dxmf: 12/15/2019 1:14:23 PMThey're just trying to remind you they want more money. arg arg arg arg arg arg arg

Tess right now.
-
The lit-up icon on Eververse is there to show all players that Bungie has a location in the game that works flawlessly and never has any bugs. Good job Bungie.
-
More importantly they should fix their game and allow us to collect armor at the end of Escalation Protocol, right now we get nothing...
-
Ahh remember when there were a bunch of items lit up all over maps because at each weekly reset there were all kinds of legendary items and even better gear you could get? Now there is literally nothing to do except the different bounties and to work on the battle pass system they ripped off that is not nearly as rewarding for free players as the old system that was what I mentioned and unlocking things through leveling up and the prismatic matrix. I mean maybe they are making more money this way but I know the old way used to sucker me into playing (even got me to buy dlcs) because I'd log in and see all those purples I could unlock so easily and head to the tower right away and then fly off. Now I head to the tower and see nothing anywhere and just log off.
-
It's there to remind people to give her a visit.
-
Until your bank account is empty...
-
Apparently so! I agree it’s really annoying as always looks like there’s something to collect there...but there’s not. Just trying to get us to spend more money there. It tastes quite sour.
-
It's REALLY annoying, isn't it? As if Tess wasn't already annoying enough. Frankly, if Fenchurch has really found something interesting, he's sold it and used the proceeds to get as far away from the Eververse Store as Ornaments, Finishers and Silver can possibly take him.
-
The objective is to buy silver.
-
Xmas is coming and bungie wants you to fill their stocking
-
I just can’t believe they made a error where it’s always flashing. I mean it’s the only thing they update.
-
We at Bungie thrive to make Eververse a part of your everyday life. A part of your soul. Without Eververse, Guardians are lost. -Luke Smith
-
But everything from there with silver(not brightdust) and it will stop flashing It’s there as a constant reminder that your cheap ass didn’t help pay to keep the game running because bungie are so poor
-
The 2020 elections are near Bungie needs all the money they can get to donate to the dnc presidential nomination.
-
Another infamous Bungie "bug"
-
Liberals/casuals always wanting a handout. No wonder this country is falling apart.
-
It stops once you buy something
-
Yes we need your money. We think if we keep it lit you may accidentally click on a purchase. - Bung
