I would assume they would add additional pages to the vault, as it works with your friends list and currently players list.
Another possibility is that they could split the vault into three different vaults. One for inventory items, one for weapons, and one for armor.
EDIT:
Many thanks for all the replies and opinions!
Can we make it to the trending page??

Infinite......that's all
-
30 slots more on each section would do nicely.
-
All of it

∞ is more than 80, isn't it?

1 ReplyEdited by blackwater1995: 3/2/2015 6:50:30 PMThey should use a slot system where the vault shows every item in game and if you put one in the vault the space is highlighted and if you have different but same guns, example one way ticket 000 with different perks, when you click that it opens up a menu showing all the different one way tickets you have... That would help people like me who like to hoard stuff. I have alot of shaders but only use about 2or 3 but don't want to delete any of the others even though i will never use them

I'd say 40-60 sucks so bad I'm having to carry armor and guns on all 3 my characters. They need to add the space fast. And If they bring house of wolves without more vault space ima shit myself. That would be so stupid. Yeah new guns and armor that no one has room for! Lol ima collector I still have blue queens rath weapons I refuse to dismantle. And some cool looking old armor.

Another page or two
-
Just let all the slots hold any type of item ie I hardly ever use the armor slots
-
-
That OR guardians would be issued a briefcase

I say 80 total slots for each type. This would allow everything I have to get stored in the vault. With the addition of the app now helping manage stuff even while not playing, it would make things nice. I for 1 would keep all my weapons in there and only take what I need for play. Then when I'm done put them all back. It's hard to keep track of which build has what sometimes.

All of it

Infinite. Skyrim had no problems. And that was last gen.
-
2 RepliesRodger confirmed that it's 4.

Just double it. I don't need more than that until more raids come out

There is no reason that the vault space shouldn't be unlimited. It isn't a game breaker for people to collect that many items. And I can't imagine that it would take up that much data on a cloud server to do so. I am not a collector of items. I probably should hold onto more things than I do. But I'm usually pretty quick to dismantle weaker items or if I already have one. Even if it had a different set of perks and attributes. If you hold on to that many items that you have to have more than double the current vault slots, then I'm not sure what you plan to do with those items. But I guess I just don't understand the logic in limiting the space. I would also prefer that I could merge my Xbox and ps4 characters so that I could just log into one character that is stored on the cloud regardless of console. There has to be a way to store the character data and progression in a way that can be accessed my whichever system you play on. I know that the coding for the consoles are different but I feel that there has to be a commonality for character creation and progression that can be stores on an independent cloud server just for this purpose. Some people change from one console to another for whatever reason. Having to create and level up a new character each time would be frustrating. So a way to merge the character data is more necessary to me than vault storage.

Yeah I made a poll too.. one of these should trend with feedback. I'm thinking they need to make an archive, we can keep our currently relevant items in the vault, this would help in data and rebuilding what is working.

1 ReplyAn easy way to increase vault space would be to add more character slots as well. Personally since they have 2 different raids at this time having a character setup for each raid would be easier. I would have a vog 30 setup and once I get to 32(higher in the future) I wouldnt need to carry or switch out equipment all the time.

I don't see why they don't just have 1 page per character you have created.
-
20 per section would be nice but more would be better
-
I think page for helmets, chests, legs. A page for primary, secondary, and heavy. A page for shaders, ships, and materials. A page for other inventory items (shards, polyphage, commendations, ammo, etc.)
-
Frankly I'd say 1 page for armors, 1 for weapons and 1 for misc, each containing 15-20 slots for each sub-categories : - Armors : helmet, chest, gauntlets... - Weapon : autos, hand cannon, fusion ... - Misc: shaders, ammo synth, mats...
-
At the minimum double but would love 80
-
At least double.
-
One full page per character. Anything more and you're just hoarding items.
