DISCLAIMER: There is a lot of material. Please leave feedback, THANKS!
I have been playing since the launch of the beta; ever since the release of the game I have been on the forums.
On various occasions i have provided a number of suggestions and ideas for Bungie. I enjoy playing Destiny, however, now that i have acquired end-game status, i find little to do in-game anymore. My goal is to make a difference and set some gears in motion for better things to come.
An important note to consider is this: Don't expect a company who is focusing on a new game release (Destiny 2) to adhere to every minimal request in change. Many suggestions are lost in the masses of threads. This should not discourage people from having a voice, and saying what they feel is right. The changes in game that we DO see, are there because we as a community voiced our concerns and Bungie listened.
I'm not asking to spread a thread like a virus and copy+paste it to all corners of the forum to get attention. Bungie is not blind, if they do not reply, it does not mean they do not see what's going on. Remember, a lone light in a dark room shines brightest.
In my time on the forums, i have dedicated countless hours to my envisioning of an improved Destiny. Not all my ideas are favorable to everyone. There will be people who oppose, and there will be people who discourage, but it is important to understand, that every idea has been carefully thought out.
Below I have created an Archive to showcase my Ideas/Suggestions that i have proposed to Bungie. This list is conveniently placed to pick and choose what you want to read about. If you see something you like in particular, follow the link and it will take you to the original thread. Here you go:
Ammo Synth Shortcut
“A shortcut to a commonly used feature.”
A fairly simple idea, have the weapon you need extra ammunition for, and have it equipped. Then you can either double tap the touchpad (PS4) or hold it for 2 seconds. That would automatically use a synthesis for your “Currently Equipped” Weapon. You would be able to use the synthesis without opening the menu. If you have no synthesis, it will not work of course.

Buff Notifications
“Get notified when that Synth is ready to use again.”
The same way that “Song of flame”, “Gunslinger’s Trance”, and “Chain of Woe” works. You have a text notification stating that you have certain buffs active. It would be more useful and accessible if there are more application for this feature, such as: “You will now gain additional glimmer fighting vex enemies: 7:32 left.” and “Your Ammo Synthesis is ready for use.” (After cool down).

Capture the Flag
“Bring it back!”
Capture the Flag is a staple multiplayer experience in the “Call of Duty” and “Halo” franchise. This game mode should be added to the crucible (permanent or playlist). If not Capture the Flag, then at least something similar to it.
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/79831639/0/0/1
Character RE-Customization
“Changed your mind, eh?”
A simple feature with no impact on the gameplay, only for cosmetics. At the character screen you hold “Triangle/Y” and customize your appearance. After completing certain tasks in game, you unlock cool character add-ons to customize your character with.
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/95810785/0/0/1

Dynamic Weather
“A pleasantly unpleasant change to weather.”
Well over 5000 votes! Dynamic Weather situations occur randomly and affect gameplay. Some examples include: Dust Storms/Sandstorms on Mars (Reduced Visibility/Slows Character Movement), Hurricanes on Venus (Heavy rain blurs vision and rough winds sways your aim), Blizzards on Earth (Reduced Visibility/Keep moving to avoid frostbite), Lunar Eclipse on the Moon (Darkness EVERYWHERE).
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/91262809/0/0/1
A Vault Update
“This is how it should be.”
The Vault is not just a storage unit. It could be a place where you organize all three of your characters. Open up the Vault and have all your characters displayed. Manage their inventory and make transfers quick and easy. Organize items better with the “Take Half” option. This way you can evenly distribute Ammo Synthesis, Glimmer Buffs, and Telemetries.
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/79952107/0/0/1
Fair Crucible RNG Loot
“Everyone wins… something.”
Two Separate loots; Guaranteed and Participation Tickets. Top players in every game get guaranteed loot (Weapons/Armor), EVERYONE undergoes RNG for participation tickets used to by cool stuff (see Participation Rewards Specifics). This way, players can actually receive Weapons/Armor through skill, and even players who did not contribute as much can still reap the spoils of RNG.
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/82575964/0/0/1
Gunsmith Upgrades Legendary Items
“Finally, he has something to do…”
The Gunsmith as we know it provides weapons for players level 1-10. Beyond that players would have to rely on drops from Strikes or Crucible. There should be an option with the Gunsmith to upgrade Legendary gear. He would be able to turn 300 weapons into 323, +27 Armor to +30, and +30 armor to +33. The Gunsmith would be perfect for an upgrading service.
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/84632726/0/0/1
Increased Glimmer
“Money, money, money, moooney…MONEY.”
The title speaks for itself. Although a nice touch to the idea would be that you get a higher glimmer cap with every character you have.
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/85597403/0/0/1
Level progression ruined with Vanguard
“Bungie’s greatest mistake”
The current rate of progression is broken. The Vault of Glass had been rendered irrelevant to leveling up. The cause behind it all is the Vanguard/Crucible Gear getting players to level 31 (explained more in detail). Old vanguard/Crucible gear should be added to their shops, and the new gear require level 30 to purchase. This will make the best form of progression available to Destiny alongside many other benefits.

New Raid Mode (Expert Mode)
“Nightfall is too easy.”
This is to be the hardest challenge in the game, it is meant to be a task that is impossible but can still be done. It rewards you with 331 Raid weapons and 32 armor. Once a new DLC is released, the previous raid gets a new “Extreme” mode. Click the link to find out more!
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/91562382/0/0/1
Return to Tower
“Shortcut to save you time!”
When the ghost menu is open, you can hold R2 and Triangle to go to Tower. You use Triangle to go to orbit, although you can bypass going to orbit and go to the tower directly without having to load up orbit. (PS4 Buttons)
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/78467513/0/0/1
Separate Leveling
“Reimagining how you see player levels!”
This is a big one, check out both links! (Combination of both)
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/78615406/0/0/1
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/78467545/0/0/1
Shader Customization
“Imagine using shaders for more than just your armor!”
Shaders should be given the ability to be attached to a single piece of armor as well as the whole set. This would make people look more creative, and finally put to use those useless shaders that nobody uses. But MOST IMPORTANTLY, I believe shaders should be able to be applied to WEAPONS! This would make customization very unique in destiny, and loads more fun to play.
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/76006012/0/0/1
Sparrow POV Change
“A wonderful change of perspective.”
If you’ve played GTAV then you’d be familiar with this mechanic. The ability to toggle between 1st person perspective and 3rd person perspective. This would be great, not only for being on top your sparrow, but maybe even walking around the tower or patrolling a planet. Riding your sparrow in the 1st person would make it more exciting.

1 ReplyBUMP #Deej I have no idea why 90% has not already been implemented.

Edited by Frederic104: 2/8/2015 2:21:24 AMI really like these ideas but I have absolutely no faith in them any more to do anything new. Thousands of great ideas have been mentioned on the forums and it just proves that Deej really doesn't care. He has seen them and does nothing his job is to just to pretend he's listening. Seriously. No real content has been added to this game that had a any say from the community. You could get a 100,000 bumps and Deej an half of bungies staff could read it and nothing would happen.

These all sound so good, especially the Dynamic Weather, Vault Update and the notification buff.

33 RepliesEdited by Senor Crouch: 1/31/2015 3:02:17 PMHere's a couple ideas that I think would be pretty cool to have as well: Banshee's Re-Roll Service "Finally, he has even more things to do..."
Let's face it, the whole re-roll concept is a great idea, but why limit that feature to simply the Iron Banner? The Iron Banner weapons are so special to a lot of people because they are able to truly make those weapons theirs. Guardians feel a special bond with those weapons simply because they can customize the perks on it to fit their own individual needs and wants. Imagine having that special bond with all non-exotic weapons?
The Active EXP Meter (Post Lv.20) "The return of knowing how much EXP is earned per kill."
A small, yet fun change. For those who enjoy the grind in RPGs, knowing how much EXP (in terms of numbers) you get from enemies is such a rewarding experience. Yet after level 20 the Active EXP Meter on the bottom of the player's HUD goes away and you are no longer able to see how much EXP you earn per kill. Although you cannot earn any more EXP for Levels after Lv20, Guardians are still leveling up weapons, armor, and Motes. This fact alone still makes the Active EXP meter relevant even after hitting Lv.20. (Just to clarify further, I am not speaking about the In-Menu EXP Meter that is only visible when you hit the Start button.)
Transmogrification "For that Special Snowflake in all of us."
For those of us who don't know Eva Levante, she's the Guardian Outfitter. She's been dressing up Guardians and making them look dashing for years. Yet there is a skill she has yet to show off, the process of Transmogrification or in layman's terms: the ability to look the way you want with any of the non-exotic pieces of armor (common to legendary) and upgrade them with the perks you want with the stats of a legendary piece. This process would probably be best suited with a sort of fusion/dismantle system. Breaking down one piece of armor and fusing the stats with another.
The Community Center "An update to the Weekly Update...ironic."
What's up Doc? Oh well that would be the Community Center, where DeeJ or the Dev Team recognizes some of the concerns of the Community and talks about them. This section can discuss what are some of the community ideas that Bungie is excited to work on, some of the ideas that they never even thought of, and some of the ideas that are in the works. It is a good way to know that all our "talking" is actually being "listened" to.
The Lore Master "I could tell you about the Collapse, I could tell you about the spread of the Darkness...actually I think I will."
What could be better than reading a Grimoire Card? How about a new NPC in the Tower called the Lore Master that has audio recordings of each Grimoire Card complete with beautiful hand-painted visuals that coincide with the audio recordings? Similar to Halo's Terminals.
Rep Standings Menu "Your Rep...on demand."
A new menu between Inventory and Settings that allows you to see all your Rep, from Vanguard to Iron Banner. No longer would it be required, from an in-game perspective, that you make a trip to the Tower to see where you stand in a certain faction.
Cutscene Skip "Hold B to Skip."
I think this one is pretty self-explanatory. From "There's nothing left....not even the light...where's his Ghost?" to "These coordinates put the Gate to the Black Garden near the lost city of Freehold." to "I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain." All skippable with a simple press of B.
Guardian's Resolve (Firefight) "Under the Ishtar Academy lies a training facility that bred Guardians. Survive for as long as possible and become Legend."
Dr. Shim, training simulation 197-B is active and ready to begin. Multiple simulated maps are online and ready to go at your command. Guardians, prepare yourself for never ending waves of enemies forged in Darkness. As you progress new Skulls will become active and Boss Waves will spawn in intervals of 10. Your chance at survival is 0% so make it as long as you can. This advance simulation will grant you EXP per enemy downed and glimmer per Major/Ultra/Boss killed. Simulated enemies also have a chance to drop engrams and enemy loot (Black Wax Idols, Network Keys, etc). This is as life-like as it gets, Guardians, so get ready.
