Killed him in 2 swords as a defender titan using middle ledge strategy and using rock on right to stage off of instead of left. 1 boomer guy, sole job was to stagger- not kill boomers so they wouldn't hit sword bearer. Dragons breath critical for killing sword bearer and hurting crota shield. The no tracking is actual a good thing. Using 3 R1's and a R2 then fleeing with 3 sword uses per sword. Killed him 2x in about 20 mins with this strategy. Heart never beat so fast

Edited by Vox Mortuis: 1/25/2015 5:22:18 AMMy team did something similar, but we did it in 3 swords so as not to risk the timing. Also instead of staggering the boomers we had a defender titan pop a bubble on the right side of the bridge by the steps and get their attention. That and sword carrier used red death, relied on the fireteam to snipe the sword bearer.

I like the strategy. Gonna give it a try with the titan to distract boomers

"Dragons breath is a must" aka. Don't have Gjallarhorn

Just checked your characters. Guess u haven't done it on hard.

Only exotics I'm missing are hard light and red death. Problem with tracking launchers is the sword bearer will hide and your rockets will hit rocks and walls so yes for the person using the sword dragon breath is a must. No need for ice breaker since u will be in mid to close quaters when u go for the sword. Also dragon breath leaves a grenade, awesome for flushing out the sword bearer. Clucking noob try to do what I did before u speculate. I used the gjalihorn and it wasn't as effective. Maybe all other players could use tracking but for sword bearer best rocket is dragonbreath.
