Ok, so here's the sitch:
I am 18 years old, and this is my senior year in high school. I am 6'2", and weigh 224lb, but I'm not really "fat", I guess I'm just heavy-set, kinda like Bane...
I am planning to enter the U.S. military in June, after I graduate. Either Air Force or possibly Navy, and I want to fly UAVs (drones). My ASVAB score that I took at school was 84, which I guess is pretty great.
My problem is that I'm not super confident in my physical prowess, and I'd like to change that. I'm NOT looking to lose a ton of weight, or get COMPLETELY ripped, I just want to trim and slim some body fat.
Any suggestions Flood? Less salt? Personal experience? Please help meh!

Exercise at least 3 times a week. Anything less than that and you are wasting your time. Don't like exercise? Don't think about joining the military. Even UAV crew still do PT. Get use to running.if you can't run 2-3 mile even at a decent jog then you won't get far. Easiest way to do what you want on preparation for army is find out how many consecutive push ups you can do. Take that number and half it. Do the same for sit ups. The. 3 times a week run 2-3 miles and then do the halved number of push ups/sit ups 3 times with 30 second break between each set. Every 2 weeks try and beat your run time Nd the amount of push ups/sit ups you can achieve . Basic preparation which will achieve your goal.
