Cops are trained on how to deal with a gun being drawn on them, and the usual spiel is:
Pull out your own weapon and start firing.
Backpedal away from the shooter.
Make yourself a small target.
Don't die.
I wouldn't be counting bullets while all that was going on, I'd be mashing down the trigger as many times as I could until I saw the guy jerk away from me.
In the heat of the moment, you sort of lose track of things. It is perfectly understandable that he was unsure. In a live fire scenario, your mind just tends to flood your thoughts with "Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot..."
You focus on hitting the target over counting your shots.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
