performance as a factor to a limited extend is definitely a good idea. it makes the whole experience more rewarding. and it's only fair.

I run into an afker every few strikes. Maybe I am just unlucky in that regard. Overall if they are not going to use their report system to dole out appropriate repercussions to moderate and or severe cases, then at the very least they can promote activity within a strike by rewarding performance.

  • so I assume unlike in Crucible, one doesn't get kicked to orbit for being an AFKer. something for Bungie to put in the next patch.

Barring their own connection issues, they don't appear to get kicked due to inactivity.
