I've been playing the game pretty much non-stop since the day after release, and my Hunter is nearly maxed out skill-tree wise.
I am level 24, about half way to 25, and since I started unlocking skill slots I've been trying to find a decently balanced set up.
I chose Bladedancer as my primary skill, but this class is so OP (in my opinion anyway) every single slot you unlock is just as incredible as the previous.
It's making it really difficult to pick and choose a good layout for the skills, lmao.
I've done my fair share of research, read a shit load of reviews and class guides, maybe I'm just indecisive.
Anyway, what kind of layout do you all have for your Hunter (Bladedancer) class? What's the pros/cons of said setup?
Just looking for opinions, really!
(Also Kudos to Bungie for making this game fairly challenging! So glad that low levels can't be running around in purple gear!
They really, really made an incredible game here. The "MMO" we've all been waiting for.)

2 RepliesFor PVE I always roll with Gunslinger. My tree is set up for more armor than anything else. I also have the exploding golden gun and long distance golden gun. The throwing knife is pretty useless in PVE (can come in handy sometimes), but I chose the fire DOT skill. Grenades are hit or miss. I think right now I have the tripmine, but I tend to gravitate towards the incendiary. As far as Bladedancer, I go with a, "Glass Cannon" spec. I have a couple of talents into invisibility (length of all effects and blink strike invis effect) and I have chosen the agility talents over regen/armor. It works really well in Control where you need mobility to get to and from flags and the Bladedancer special can pretty much clear a flag within seconds. For grenades here I chose Arc Grenade, but It's kind of meh. I'm interested to see what everyone else says!
