I think its better to just use the lfg sites provided by the users of the game. matchmaking would just add more work on our side and bungies side its easier to cherry pick the teammates you want for the mission instead of getting stuck with 5 other randoms who half dont have mics or a couple are level 24 or something so no i think matchmaking is not necessary

Agreed to some degree, however I do feel that Bungie really needs to add some more possible ways to interact with other players. Currently it simply doesn't suffice in my opinion. Why have players in the same world to whom I can either wave, point at our dance with. There is no way of interacting, chasing for instance to see if you can form a group together and get some friends through playing the game. Even in the "players met" section of the PS4 you don't see the players listed you actually met in the game. I find it silly and quite frankly stupid that this is not possible. Okay, matchmaking for raids is a bad idea I guess. I've seen videos on the current nightfall raid and some good players are indeed required. But if I can't make friends easily I don't see me getting in to the raids any time soon either. What's the use of a clan if you can't interact within the game itself? Fine that some people use forums for it, but it should be part of a game like this in the first place. I'm enjoying Destiny, don't get me wrong, just saying that it feels incomplete at the social level a lot.
