I had a very similar experience this morning albeit with a different result. In the end I was very lucky to reach someone willing to upgrade me to one day shipping free of charge. Here's the convo: Initial Question: Hi, I preordered this item in June but with a card that has since been replaced. I updated the card 2 months ago in my Amazon account but didn't know until this morning that the order didn't automatically update. The order is now going through but my problem is that the expected delivery date is not until Thursday. Is there any way to get it here tomorrow as originally planned?
