I saw so stupidly many players in the Beta fail at Devil Walker in Devil's Lair - either die multiple times or took ages to kill - because they were together. So then there was just 2 targets for the tank, and I had to juggle positions at lot because the other 2 were, naturally, hiding in the ruined building on the right of the tank... the worst place ever to be in.
On topic: I'd say it depends a lot on how the raid really plays out. Personally, I don't even want to know what's in there before I go in the first time. If we fail a lot during an encounter, I could see myself coming onto the forums to discuss different approaches to that specific encounter without spoiling the rest of the raid for me.
I actually hope there are no "simple tactics" to the encounters in the raids of Destiny - so you can't just know exactly to rotate the boss clockwise to avoid that flamethrower thing it does, but you have to have a keen eye and adapt to the situation - if the flamethrower splits into two smaller streams and circles in both directions but can be jumped over / ducked under, act fast!

The number of peeps in demos of the Devil Walker kill in the Strike mission and then go to Teabag it... and get killed by the Vandals that run out the doors right away has made me laugh... a LOT... Why? Because it nearly happened to me the first time as well.

I soloed the tank in that position without dying its not that bad a position

Hmm... maybe you were using it better. Nevertheless, both my teammates were there on many occassions, which is just stupid
