I have an idea.
Send them a message.
Also, if you try to do too many gestures at the same time it will do them, but it will not show up in the little gesture/killfeed log.

It's true that it stops showing up, but that's where you benefit by gaining their attention. It's easy to do. You either shoot at them or move in front of them.

Good idea. Now you just need to tell all 4.6 million + players.

Edited by DeclinedMercy: 8/7/2014 1:40:11 AMTrue enough. I may eventually reach out to Bungie. Thanks for your feedback.
-
Oh, and fireteam chat is also a thing. If you turn your mic on and Prioritize Game on PS4 (not sure on other systems) you can just tell you're fireteam " brb bio"
-
Yes I know you can chat with people in your Fireteam. What about people not in your Fireteam?
-
Well, think about where you need to convey these messages. Strikes? Raids? Both situations you will be speaking explicitly to your fireteam. Crucible and Explore are the only places you won't be. I don't see a need to tell everyone I'm going to take a dump if we are farming vanguard rep.

Edited by DeclinedMercy: 8/7/2014 2:55:05 AMYou can (and probably sometimes should) play strikes with strangers.
-
Regardless, they will hear you speaking to them unless their TV is muted.
-
I don't think you can hear them unless you are in a Fireteam with them. If they can hear you, they can respond to you and you have a defacto chat system.
-
If you are doing a raid you are required to be in a fireteam.
-
Yes, we are talking about strikes, not raids.
-
You know I can't take you seriously when you edit all of your posts and make that comment right? Invite a random into your fireteam. Send him a message. If he is in your strike he will probably join. If not, it's not like strikes are super demanding of your cooperation. Even if you told him you were leaving he would still go on.

Edited by DeclinedMercy: 8/7/2014 3:09:46 AMIt was a typo dude, you can't play raids with strangers so it should be implicit that I wrote raid instead of strike by mistake. Should I not correct a typo when it is pointed out? My apologies for fixing it without making note of it.
-
So you can simply say "Sorry. I meant strikes." And yeah, you can play raids with strangers. Send someone a message and ask if he wants to play a raid. Everyone is looking for ways to meet strangers to join a raid since there is no MM.

Edited by DeclinedMercy: 8/7/2014 9:00:21 PMYou're right, my bad. I accidentally wrote Raids instead of Strikes. I admit to editing my prior post. I like editing and improving things. It's not meant to be manipulative. I think people are being premature in looking for Raid partners. Not only will they meet people in game, but they will all arrive at the end game after different amounts of time.
