i totally agree with this. I doubt Bungie will implement it though because it could turn destiny pvp, and potentially pve, into a certain experience they don't want in their game. I think most of us can agree that when there is no drift guard, aiming is extremely easy when its that responsive, and that could take away from the experience destiny is trying create. If anything i hope they tone down that dead zone because i definitely noticed how hard it was to aim in pvp when i really wanted to be precise but ended up over compensating with my aim everytime i tried to get back on target. I get that it makes the game more challenging that way, but in my opinion its a steep learning curve, and its an extremely frustrating process.

Yes russia isnt space, but it is the future...up your sensitivity or lower it and strafe...thats what I do...and yes...trying to go back to cod after playing destiny is hard...controls seem overly sensitive in cod...but the auto aim function gets you within range of target...a simple side step will 95% of the time put your cross hair in center of enemy chest...

This issue isn't moving left or right usually. Most people know to strafe into the shot. It's looking up or down to aim at the head. Lol The reason things feel "overly sensitive" in CoD after playing Destiny is not because they are actually oversensitive, but they are the normal console FPS responsive control styles. Destiny is very limiting in how you control your aim.

  • Destiny isnt a tdm fps...its supposed to be mmofps more than a cod remake. Different style...different kind of play...if destiny was made by the same team(s) as cod...then I would expect the control style to be the same...

Last time I checked neither of them have drift guard and they both run at 60 fps, yet they handle substantially different.

  • And from my understanding...hosting for bf servers can be done by anyone while cod is based off the hosts internet...which really dictates server speeds and latency...the way i understand Destiny is setup is that its hosted by bungie and that they have optimized gameplay to best suit each console. I think it would have more of a black ops feel...not bo2...but bo had a sluggish feel to it without auto aim on...and I think they did that on purpose...same with Destiny...there is a delay in response...but not as drastic as bo...
