Simple question with no third option. Do you think that current Western culture, at some level, tells men that they are entitled to women? (Had to shorten the title)
Explain, if you want.
Edit 5/30:
Question 2:
Do you think our society is misogynistic?

4 RepliesThis may not be the right thread for it, but whatever. I'm expecting someone to bitch at me for saying this. But, why do people think that prevention = victim blaming? That by saying that if women did X to decrease the chances of her getting rayped, that I'm blaming the women, saying it's her fault and that the man is ok because it's her fault. NO, you -blam!-ing dipshit. You're right, people shouldn't raype. People shouldn't bomb airports and/or planes. People shouldn't shoot up schools. But this is a -blam!-ed up world, where people do these things. So we take precaution, take steps to make sure these things don't happen, because it's protecting the innocent from the bad people who DO exist, and we need to realise that. But you can't rely on the law and authority figures for everything, and some level of personal responsibility to protect yourself. I mean, you wouldn't walk around detroit at 1 am, alone, showing off that you have alot of money on you would you? And no, I never think raype is ok. Ever.
