Screen-capped for future reference and use. I suspect that you may be seeing this a great deal.

 • Why?

 • I see you frequently and consistently raging and stating that people who make choices that you don't support or agree with should be stopped, forced to make the "right choice" or killed. It's nice to see that you have come to accept that people are free to make their own choices and that no one can oppress that ability to choose. That is IF you really meant what you posted. If you don't believe that choice can't (and shouldn't) be oppressed, then I suspect that the screen-cap may serve as a good reminder for you when you are arguing against someone else's choices.

 •
But abortions different.
Okay. How is abortion different than say..... hunting? Life and its potential is lost. Due to the choice and actions of an individual. Some would argue that (in both or either case) the lost life is innocent, defenseless and deserves the opportunity to live. That the life lost never got a say in the matter, and all of its potential was taken by the choice of another. Others would argue that it was the right of the individual to decide as to what was important, what was valuable, what they want was what was important and that no one should have the right to tell them they are wrong. Your statement of "You can't oppress people's choice!" doesn't and didn't specify a single topic or subject, as it was made, it applies to nearly any and all choices that people can (and do) make for themselves each and every day.

 •
How is abortion different than say..... hunting?
Animals are alive, they have feelings and thoughts. A fetus is just a fetus.

 •

How is abortion different than say..... hunting?
Animals are alive, they have feelings and thoughts. A fetus is just a fetus.
So, for you... the line is drawn at "feelings and thoughts"? So a developed nervous system and the ability to feel pain is where you draw the line? Personally, I have no personal problem with either hunting or abortion. Which is why I found your declarative statement about choice to be so interesting. I would say that there is plenty of research and evidence as to when a developing fetus is capable of feeling pain, far more than there is that animals have complex thoughts. But, you are free to make your choices, choices as to what is right and what is wrong. I was impressed (and somewhat amused) that you then made a declaration that people should be free to make choices, when you are so adamantly opposed to some choices made by others.

 • No where I draw the line is that a fetus isn't really a proper life, it's just cells mashed together.

 • You're describing an embryo. An embryo is a collection of non-specialized cells during the first 8 or so weeks of gestation. After that, those cells begin to specialize and the embryo is then referred to as a fetus. That specialization of cells is when the brain, nervous system, organs and other systems begin to develop. The development is fast and goes through many stages. Trying to draw a line where "this is human and this is pre-human" is difficult and not really my concern. As I said, when it comes to the subjects of abortion, hunting and a great many others that involve death, I am not one that holds such a strong view as to declare others "wrong". What I am trying to highlight is that you are (as is your right) assign what you consider to he valuable, important and worth protecting based on your own personal views. The screencap indicates that those views and those choices (regardless of who makes them and the choices they make) can not and should not be oppressed. I know that you've got strongly held views and I believe that you are entitled to them. I also think the same of people who have views that are different than yours. Again, you appeared puzzled as to why I thought your post (that I screen-capped) was of interest. I've tried to explain, if I have failed to get to you to see how and why it caught my eye? Then I apologize. Clearly I can't convey my views to you in a way that you can see them from a perspective other than your own.

 • You asked for an explanation. I gave it to you. I am neither mad, nor a he. I am amused (but not at all surprised) by your rage and selective inability to apply your declaration to others who don't share your views. Apparently you are mad. Sorry that I made you more mad. But based on what I have seen over the years? It can't be avoided. Best of luck with your anger and when you realize that you're the cause of it? Good luck coming to grips.
