I'm not. It's a Bioware/EA game. It's okay to be interested in the game, however you should proceed with extreme caution. I still don't think the eggheads at Bioware understand that Dragon Age II was a lousy game.
No one cares, Dragon Age II/Mass Effect 3 haters!
Dragon Age II was pretty good in my opinion (not counting the repeating dungeons and disappointing boss fight). They improved the combat system a lot, although I'm glad they're combining the two combat systems this time around.

They're making more DA II than DA: O or something like Dragon's Dogma. Sorry but DA II was a lousy game. By all means if it clicked with you go ahead with this. Proceed cautiously though. EA/Bioware is like a double kiss of death. My only advice to people interested in this is to wait for reviews/impressions before jumping in head first. It's not like this is CDPR and The Witcher 3. It's a Bioware game. There's a strong likelihood of being screwed at some point.

Stop acting like BioWare are a bad developer they made one bad game, big deal what about KOTOR, Dragon Age, Mass Effect 1, 2, 3 and Jade Empire they are all great games especially KOTOR that is still one of my favourite games to date.

Edited by Vgnut: 4/23/2014 4:59:26 AMKOTOR was over ten years ago. It's a poor indicator for future Bioware games since it's clear they aren't producing games at the level of quality. It's not just that the quality of Bioware's games have declined. There's clearly a cultural issue within that studio. The people that made Bioware famous aren't at that studio anymore. Today the people working there have shown themselves to be tone deaf to the outside world. There's also a clear willingness to strip their games of integral parts to sell as DLC. ME3 disgustingly abused this. DA II is hardly the sole issue with Bioware. They wouldn't get the shit they do if that's all there was. That's why I say proceed cautiously. They haven't produced GOTY material in years. Their games are infamous for screwing you out of content. Bioware shows no signs of understanding why they get the criticism that they do.

I've never not enjoyed a BioWare game. I still have a disc copy of The Old Republic that I never even played though.
