The Broadsword is the ugliest UNSC vehicle we've seen yet.
Like seriously, wtf were they thinking when they made that piece of shit? It literally looks like someone took a down syndrome Sabre and over fed it until its obesity caused it to explode.
Not to mention its rounded. Just why?
Our military jets today are sharper and sleeker than that thing.
It literally looks like someone took a down syndrome Sabre and over fed it until its obesity caused it to explode.
It's Down's Syndrome by the way. Also, the Sabre looks like a skinny version of the Broadsword? Are we even looking at the same ships?
Not to mention its rounded. Just why?
Because it can be, and is also aerodynamic?
Our military jets today are sharper and sleeker than that thing.
Yeah, but those are designed solely for atmospheric use. The Broadsword is an A/X fighter.

Wait why a turtle? That's like the opposite of what the Broadword is, which is to say, hella fast.
-
I have no idea. I can see if they explained why when I get back to all my Halo sources. I'm on vacation right now,
-
I just don't think it looks practical at all. Its almost an arched shape that doesn't look like a jet, but a fat spacecraft.
-
It doesn't look practical at all, but then again nothing in the Halo universe does.
-
Probably because it is a spacecraft. I still fail to see how it's fat.
-
Yeah obviously. But it'd have to be practical IN atmosphere as well. The entire body is a bulky, humped, piece of metal with skimpy wings.

You're referring to the same series that doesn't equip iron sights on most of their standard issue weapons, or have doors on vehicles.
-
They don't have standard issue iron sights because Marines, ODSTs, and Spartans all have their sights built into their HUD. Now the doorless vehicles I can agree with, riding in a Warthog would suck.
-
But what if, for whatever reason, the neural link does not work, due to a weapon fault or an EMP?
-
Thats something you'd have to refer to LoA for. I don't exactly know what'd happen, but its not like they don't have scopes on their weapons. The SMG has built on iron sights I believe. Weapons like the Spiker do as well. But I guess it'd be the same thing as saying "How do elites shoot their weapons?" Because their suits wouldn't provide any sights unless they had a helmet on that provides a HUD. Atleast thats what I think, I could be wrong.
-
They have contact lenses to display HUD.

Want to go ask 343i with me then?
