You could tell me that's Star Wars and I would believe you.

> Vulture from Halo Wars > Broadsword from Halo 4 > Spartan piloting Broadsword I'm not sure we've been watching the same Star Wars... This cover is literally two established vessels in the fiction (one from as far back as 2009, the other from 2012) and a Spartan-IV. Do ship-to-ship battles not happen in Halo? is there something I've missed here?
-
What? It's a Vulture chasing a Broadsword. I have no idea what you're talking about.
-
Edited by DarkestSeptagon: 3/26/2014 12:31:46 AMWhatever it's chasing looks like it was taken from Star Wars and put into Halo.
-
What?
-
343 wtf are you doing
-
Edited by Lord of Admirals: 3/26/2014 12:42:27 AM-_- The Broadsword is an A/X Fighter designed to contest Covenant fighters in atmosphere and in orbit. The Longsword is primarily a multicrewed ship designed to engage enemy capitol ships. The Longsword is the space equivalent of a flying fortress.
-
Still the art style is way different. 343i should fire their art director.
-
If by "different" you mean "basically the same" then yeah, totally. The Broadsword isn't the same thing as what you posted, it is a single pilot interceptor/fighter, and as such is smaller and also more advanced. It still fits the UNSC's utilitarian art style, except they painted it white.
-
If you put that vehicle in Reach or Halo 3 it would be completely out of ordinary because of the different art style. UNSC vehicles arw usually military green, sleek, and look like real vehicles. While 343's design of vehicles just looks like something with star wars. Random shit just thrown into the design that looks clunky and boring.
UNSC vehicles arw usually military green
The last time a Halo game had a military green vehicle was Halo CE.
sleek
The Broadsword is sleek. Now look at the Broadsword, it's curved and not aerodynamic at all.
The Broadsword looks like modern jets. The Longsword, Sabre, Shortsword, and Wombat do not. You're acting like most of the UNSC's vehicles are military green.
No looks at the Longsword, it's flat and angular. Most of the unsc vehicles are green, save the longsword, broadsword, and large navy vessels...

Cool, then I won.
-
Won what? Were we competing for something? Is this supposed to be a game? I'm done with this covo because instead talking about something you were wrong about you would rather say "That's beside the point." Muted

Edited by Lord of Admirals: 3/26/2014 1:21:53 AM
because instead talking about something you were wrong about you would rather say "That's beside the point."
Okay? I acknowledge I was wrong about the military green vehichle, but that honestly doesn't affect my argument in any way for being wrong about that, as it's only 1 out of the 10s of UNSC vehicles we know about. If muting me makes you feel better then cool. I still won.
lel
You've won nothing
except they painted it white.
Which makes sense since it's going to be in the sky, and not in space primarily. It is after all the UNSC Air Force's primary fighter.
-
UNSC Air Force
They are a navy.... They don't call it their Air Force....
-
Edited by Lord of Admirals: 3/26/2014 4:26:14 AMNope, it's classified as Air Force.
-
Well whoever classified it as that should've called it NATAF (Naval Air Task Force) as they were all based off of the U.S military branches (though that may have just been the marines) and that's what the navy calls their air force. Unless it is the actual Air Force from there military. Then that would be correct.
-
What? The Broadsword is piloted by members of the UNSC Air Force. Thomas Lasky piloted a Broadsword when he was an Air Force pilot.
-
Nevermind lol I'm just done with halo lore it's been to long since I've looked at any of it.
